    my gos

hi just thought i would say hello, been on this site a long time but usually go on the lurcher forum, i bought my gos off peter gill and richard hill, i got him at 12 days old he is a social imprint, he is well and truely wed to pheasants cock pheasants are his favourite, he was killing at 2lbs but since the clocks went back i am struggling to do everything, work dogs birds, he,s up in weight now, but ille get back on the case very soon.
  14. over the last 40 years i have had, a fair few lurchers, but i have also owned and ran on all quarry the following pure bred sighthounds, 4 whippets 2 greyhounds 1 borzoi 1 deerhound 1 ibizan hound ive also seen a lot of pure sighthounds run at coursing club meetings, and seen other friends pure sight hounds run, aswell as seeing them at home in day to day life. at the moment (and over the last two years,) i have owned two pure salukis, and in my humble opinion, contrary to what a lot of people would think, it is salukis who are the cleverest by far, (for me anyway) in the way they work, and
  15. they generally get better as they get older, about 2 1/2 to 3 year old, and they settle down properly,
  16. as ritchie correctly said the first thing you must do is bond with the two of them, salukis, will not do anything for you without having a very strong close bond, and this its self is the first thing you need to achieve, this may take some time, its not anything you can rush
  17. BOTH HARRIS,S SOLD............................................................................................
