  1. : Not half as tricky as catching that fish
  2. Hi Jonansuki.Have you managed to find a home for your dog yet?
  3. My usual one is tin cans or bottles in clumps of grass.Ive lamped my share of bricks aswell. No idea were the fish came from.

  8. Thanks for the help.I think ill go find a 5year old to do it for me.
  9. Could somebody please tell me how to re size pics so i can attatch them to a post (file size to big) Thanks,Kev.
  10. Really sorry to hear this.Shit houses!!Cant imagine how you are feeling.I wish you all the best in getting them back.
  11. I personaly would wait for at least 12 months.Plenty of exercise.Spend that time bonding & building up trust with your dog.Work on walking on & off lead, retrieving, sit & stay & blind stay.Easier to do now while still young.I find a well exercised & tired dog is easier to train than one thats full of energy.Thats just my view. Hope this helps. Kev.
  12. If your daytime hunting in cover he'll need a good nose.I personally think he's still a bit young yet.Take your time, dont rush him. He'll work it out.If he is all nose itll be hard work lamping with him. atb Kev. PS.dont do yourself down.Nobody knows everything. You never stop learning.
  13. My Beddy/whippet sometimes yaps on a daytime run,but he's as quite as a mouse at night.Only one way to find out.Give her ago & see how she go's.Good luck,Kev.
  14. Im sure that you are right to a point. But as Stroller said earlier some pople just wont listen.Im glad to hear that you had somebody to point you in the right direction.Me personally i have never had a dog in my life until 5 years ago let alone hunted anything even though ive lived in the countryside for most of my life,so im no expert.I just think its common sense.
  15. The problem is though, some people dont leave it alone until they get fedup of going home empty handed & usually dont have permission anyway.Obviously have too much time on thier hands. If the farmer wants you to thin them out during the summer because crops are being eaten away then theres not allot you can do about that, its a job that has tobe done. But thats a different thing alltogether. i have to go in the sumer or i will lose my permisson,i go on a big liver yerd and they just [bANNED TEXT] them gone for good so it is a must that i go in sumer Thats a fair point in a few

  17. Couldnt agree more(probably in the pub sellig thier drugs). Its no wonder when you ask for permission the second you say dog, your suddenly a lying, thieving,b*****d.Taken me along time to build up the trust & get my permission only tobe ruined by Knobs.Perhaps theyll get bored soon with lurchers.Get themselves a real mans dog like a pittbull(not that i have anyting against pittbulls & the like.Luvly dogs in the right hands.Just not thiers).
  18. They dont have any land of thier own cause nobody will give them permission. They just ruin everbody elses.I have no objection to anybody coming onto my permission.Just show some respect for the land & other people.keep them off your permission mate if they are cutting sheep wire and you dont do anything about it the farmer will more than likely stop you going on there part of being giving permission is to keep an eye on the land while your outWithout question.Always do.Just have tobe careful as i always work alone. All live close to me & usually 5 or 6 of them out at night with more dog
