  9. cheers for all the comments and yeah i see what you mean about it not beeing a set back the only thing i was thinking about was can you get done for your dog killing a cat because if the neighbours see the dog kill there cat they will report me i reckon lol.
  10. hi my whippet bitch is 18 months old and am ready to start working her this season but i had a set back with her the other day while i wasnt there but my mrs was she got very excited and jumped on the window sill then jumped threw an open window into the garden my mrs rushed out side to see what was going on then she saw the whippet with a cat in her mouth shaking it to death by the time my mrs got to it she said it was dead is there any way i can stop the bitch attacking cats as many of my neighbours have them or will this be a constant problem now cheers any advice welcome.   11. hi this is a picture of one of my lurchers as a puppy she was 4 months in the pics she is now 15 months and coming on well i am not 100% on her breeding i bought her off someone in ormskirk and if they are on here i would like to no it i no its a long shot but hey i will try and get some more up to date pics on as soon as i can cheers for looking.   12. It's probably because your mums dog hasn't got the same bulk of conditioned muscle as a working whippet does. I'd have thought a conditioned working whippet would be more efficient at keeping itself warm due to having more mass and a stronger cardiovascular system. i would agree with that i have got 2 whippets one is 4 years old and has never worked more of a house pet the other is 17 months and starting to work when i take them both out the older one shivers like mad and the other one is so keen to work the weather dont seem to bother her hope this helps.

  15. thank you all very much for the advice there were 7 pups in the litter and yes after about 4 days she was gettin fed up with them and staying away from them and would sit down stairs and not go to them they are a week old now and she has settled down and is feeding them ok now and going to them cheers for all your input. it is her first litter and she seems to have a good mothering instinct and when you say scrapped meat what kind thanks.
