  1. lol Ha Ha In all seriousness, I once thought I saw Darcys wallet once but it was just an apparition!! i once saw wilf in bed with another fat lad and thought i was mistaken... i wasnt. massive bender. i also saw simonman being sucked off by a blurry white object in the middle of a feild. kinky shit round these parts!!
  2. a fox in a hole im guessing the scent is or should be more concentrated and direct. its just diffrent. thankfuly ive nvere had to think about it because it just shouldnt happen. and all foxes will give off scent (some alot more than others), its all the other reason that they cant be hunted.
  3. its a sixth sense for the number of teenage boys watching/thinking about you...... kids will wank over owt these days... spooooooky
  4. because i wouldnt keep a dog that lies. as for any huntsman who knows his stuff, id rather go for the persevering ones who know that there is NO way to predict scenting conditions than ones that makes excuses for this and excuses for that. either way a huntsman opinion on a fox in hole and scenting with hounds is completely different to terrier work.
  5. they say dogs are like thier owner. this is of the bell-end variety
  6. I'de go completely the other way, .22 is the perfect despatch tool if your up close and personal, the .410 is far to noisy to fire next to a dogs head. The .22 short is as good as useless and doesn't carry the punch. The .410 is to loud and creats a load of smoke you can't see through for two or three minutes. Never had an issue with smoke, even when used 2 1/2 inch cartridges. Don't need a back up shot either like some of the.22's i have seen. It's each to their own, but I think the .410 is a great tool. Its not as temperamental as the .22's i have seen. A mere suspicion of mud and t
  7. whats that pup doing moo.... from what i understand the one bitch that was kept is doing as expected and seen a good amount, the other is being dug to right enough and the dog hasnt done owt yet but will be going back to the breeder pup looks well mouse.
  8. havent done much of the above so i wouldnt know. i do personally think the real place for a terrier is below ground alought im aware they do do well in other areas.
  9. Absolutely. I'm all for testing dogs to their fullest, but the mark of a good terrierman should be to know when they have had enough before they have. They all have their limits, as do all animals. Why do people see the need to prove a dogs limit by making it chuck it? FTB not at all about making it chuck, that would be crazy. but when yourve seen a standard you want to achive that was achived by some dogs there is no reason not to test a dog to that limit. if you don't put a knackered in pain dog to ground then it should be as good on its 5th dig as it was on its first.. if not be
  10. Why cant a truely hard dog not be tested ? Because IMO to fully test a dog it needs to be used in many different earths and situations many times a season. Hard dogs can't be tested as they are sat in the kennel when they should be getting dug. Like i have already said i think many people are getting a hard dog and a rough dog mixed up they are not the same animal. imo I think people get mixed up with hard and game dogs ....but surely working a hard dog as much as you can is a form of testing ....I have a dog I would consider hardon foxes that has had a few 4hour plus digs 1 last y
  11. youve said your bit, now f**k off. and congratulations on quoting the "independent"... the paper of rural sporting Britain.
  12. arent these 2 dogs forsale the ones yourve just had a litter from?
  13. thats why hondas are better, arctic cats are a joke over here. just aren't robust enough.
  14. good length bar. not a t bar a digging bar.needed in some parts, a fork, graft or axe head on the end are handy too. and yes you can do them in 2 parts, needs a good long thread and a collar to stop lateral movement.
  15. the best was the second march (first proper march through london) parliament square was good fun, at the front or in the anti pen, either was uncomfortably good. did get interviewed to see if i wanted to complain about police brutality, tried to stop them but they came to my house, kept saying no but they were persistent, i never did give a proper statement. the lads that didn't nowt ever happened.
  16. step brothers, talladega nights and or Superbad.
  17. wait till your on the land and you see lamps, you are there with very good reason they are not... ring the cops quickly and say you shone a light to deter them and you heard a shot in your direction... they will be very very interested then, helicopters,ARU the works. the bang could of been anything, but in your mind you felt like you were being shot at and did the most sensible thing.
  18. We're doing it for a laugh pal, i think his terrier will beat my staff as well on ratting anyway. was a universal post for the benefit of people on here who don't have a clue what a proper terrier is.
  19. if the terrier is worse than the staff you want to shoot it, take your tenner, buy a pint and have a good hard look at what you expect from a terier and what shite youve been working with.
