prick.... it came 2nd hand with the gun. people like you make yourselfs look like morons. Hi pretty sure for the 243 you should only have the north star for upto 25/06 cal. The 30cal is for upto 300wm i think & to big for your use on a 243. this was the kind of info i was after an unsure on. unlike speedystu im not an expert on these thing, upon reading the side of the mod it made more sense to me that a .243 would have an non .30 cal mod on it.

some folk here are deluded, look at a proper pack of hounds, you will not find fitter canines (doing upto 50miles a day three/four days week) you will see no rippling muscles and intentionally underweight dogs there. im very aware lurchers are different, but principles are the same. endurance and stamina (fitness) is different to being muscled or underweight.

to stand any chance in agricultural situations i would think it would be worth adding a SGC and FAC to your armoury.

they say not to clean as they were getting a problem with people putting them back together badly, coming loose and the bullet hitting the inside rim of the exit hole and obviously causing damage, being unsafe and inaccurate...... they do get full of shit and do really need cleaning, the choice is yours.

brog, what have you painted those floors with? we've tried a few different things, the latest being super hard wearing industrial concrete floor paint, looked just like yours when it went on. within a week it peeled and now after a few months its almost non existent.

well ive worked and seen lots of sheep dogs in the uk, very very few iu would even consider trying to work boar with. ive also shot and flushed boar... again none of them i would expect any of my collies to work. send a collie round any boar in our countryside and you will soon wind up in a situation of not alot of stock fencing left.... a wild ass collie disaperaing into large areas of woodland.... and some very pissed off local famers. if your going to flush these things with dogs you want strong quick dogs that wil slow them up rapidly. ive also been round domestic/semi wild pig

Taking dog breeds like that is just asking 4 trouble !!! a old sheep dog would be all u would need , all bark and no bite !It would be just like rounding up a sheep on a farm ... and with the go ahead from the land owner . doing 12 miles...... the more you can do the fitter they will be, you will NOT get to the bottom of a well bred dog that has been built up correctly. start at 5 when roads are quite and its nice and cool. done it for years. this will also help all the folk who moan about behaviourl issues, most are just lazy and wont put the time in. the odg will respect you alot more for getting it out.

take a camera!! best thing you can do is get there early.... find the hound area that your interested in, most of the activity will be around the covered area surrounded by kennels. there's some very good "real life" shots to be had, huntsmen putting hounds in kennels, collecting ring etc. if you want to photograph the hounds showing, push your way in early and go the collecting ring end with you back to toilets, get in that corner stood up and you will see it all. there are different areas for old English, bassets, beagles, terriers etc, but noone really cares about them an

1) its not 2)only in some cases (generally not) 3)pain in the arse to get in and out of and put things in 4)granted, if you can get stuff up in there 5)you can have flotation tyres, leaving some not zero damage 6)possibly the problem 7)not all of them 8 ) struggle with your average gate 9)has turning circle of a bus) 10)is very heavy.... when you do get stuck on you zero tyres you may as well of taken a tractor and 10 furrow plough 11)very noisy 12)very obvious 13)very expensive 14)maintenance costs are huge back to the drawing board me thinks!
