  1. i know an estate that is just over 5ooo acres. they kill an average of 15 litters a year every year (for at least 30 years), and lamp all year round for others, the area surrounding it is also shot and controlled for a good radius. there is no way that the fox numbers are reducing.they are survivors. any amount of culling will not get rid of them. loss of food or habitat or disease would be there their only downfall.
  2. don't go showing off mind, he already thinks he is the Mac Daddy of his town.... he doesn't need encouraging
  3. Clutch and gear box went because it was getting driven like a bitch. Never beat the Landy off road with an L200. If it did then i'm afraid the Landy driver couldn't drive a pig to the market............. Nice bunch of motors though... Wrong, the Puma has been suffering with Gearbox problems as a major fault from the launch (some going at less than 10000 miles), also alternators, EGR problems, handbrakes and vacuum pumps (brakes) engine is sound despite some electrical issues. very capable machine and WILL go further than an l200 but there's less in it than there used to be
  4. some people are morons! but then some people breed pups to make money
  5. ive seen some nice ally ones with a range rover badge on, thery were home made but look origainal. i went for the wooden ones with draws underneath for locators, net etc.
  6. ooooo, i wish i could be like you. MESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSER
  7. impossible in both cases. not really, ive seen them used as guard dogs in senegal. also seen male baboons on chains used as guard dogs also in senegal. and this was only 15yrs ago i have no doubt that some how they would guard, probably by looks rather than intent. but i think the impossibility you have written in your own words impossible NO impractical YES. they use them to guard scrapyards and some gangs also keep them, if it was based on looks alone desperate afrikaans would learn that very quickly, they would also be costly to feed. they use them where dogs are

  11. When theres an interest in something there can be any price put on it but as the book your commenting on is £17.50 + £2.50 P&P = £20 not £32 !! As for just gathering up a load of old pics id say it wasnt as easy as that somehow, For £20 I think its well worth it as will other lads who have an interest. Have you got the book or ar you just commenting from your imagination? Sorry, I made a mistake when quoting the price. Yes I do have the book therefore I'm entitled to an opinion even if it does upset the Darcy fan club. If your happy with a book full of pictures then fa
  12. i went laat year and it was a £1 donation to get, not sure this year.
  13. sorry mate, yes that is half the story. but its the studs you hear of. there are just as many good bitches on a similar scheme.
  14. who needs loads and loads of lines and studs apparently all working like most of the wanky black stuff you see today. theres planty of good russels out there if you know where to look. i can think of atleast 6 stud dogs of very good standard (proper digging dogs and good stamp.), thats just with what i know and without trying to find any. these start in the deep south all the way up to the scots border. there maybe alot more coloured stuff but in ratio terms just as many usable studs if you want to breed for quality working ability.
  15. above it says not. see what that diffiuclt guys. cheer 71. if the dog begings with M aswell as the bitch. i have a dog out of the litter, has similar look to this one anyway.
  16. a spring? that wouldnt help digging in a anyway as it would take all the energy out of the bar.
  17. technically someone who owns a pug has no grounds to comment on anything.
