    what is wrong with your stealth .I wonder if the valve wont open when you shoot the gun .mabe you have filled the bottle up to much.

    I havent taken that gun apart .I think that is what you have to do ,sounds like something is broken a spring or spring guide or some thing ,if the gun will only cock half way.Something wrong with the trigger mechanisum if the gun will almost cock .The only way to find out is to take it apart .If you take the gun out of the stock you may see the problem and fix it .

    I made a few bits for my stealth .The two things that I think where the best 1 a hammer of plastic and brass that rode on a polished barrel with a ptfe spring guide. [the hammer weight as standard I did make a heavy one???] .2 drilled three holes in the front barrel mounting to increase the silentcer.The very very best thing I did with my stealth was sell it and get hw100.

    I found the best thing about a stealth is after a long period of shooting with it you are guaranteed a stiff neck.

    I made bits for my stealth they are not complicated .I was able to remove the valve and the brass thing it sits in by getting something pionted into one of thoughs holes under the valve .Or some times pushing the valve open with my hand and pressing it hard against the brass surface and the friction was ehough to grip the brass bit and turn it out.This didnot desturb the factory setting of the valve .I would think the face of the valve is what is leaking .with a bit of auto solve or some fine abrasive past [very fine and very little ]put on the valve face and a bit of slow turning by hand .The

    If you have put the barrel between centers ,and if you have done any bashing or banging you may have damaged the crown .If so that can be fix with a ballbearing and lapping paste.

    If it is grouping ok with the packing in scope ring then what is the problem .If it is not ?????? .Also you could check the bore in the centre of the barrel has been drilled in the center at both ends.

    I will not get a gas ram again .......If the gun is in good condition I would get a tuning kit .......If the gun is shooting at full power now .The spring is still in good nick . You would only need a top hat and a good spring guide , to improve your gun at little cost, The spring guide and top hat would have to fit the spring ..........I made my own top hat and sping guide to fit a new titan xs spring when I replaced my gas ram in my lightning .The gun shoots the best it ever has,now .

    I fitted a gas ram in a lightning went back to a good quality spring .The spring fitted with top hat and a tight derlin spring guide is better ,or a tuning kit ect.They like to say in the add for the gas rams that springs loose there power from the start they dont say the gas rams loose there GAS.The gas ram has a 6 mounth guarantee ??????? or is less now not sure.The gas rams shoot well for a while but you have to chop your gun up a bit to often fit them in .They cost a lot .With a spring a power drop can be often fixed with a spacer or washer ect to tune the gun when the spring settles down

    To make the gun safe when you load a pellet, make sure you hold the underlever all the time ,incase the trigger fails .I hold the underlever on my hw 97 when loading ,it should have better biuld quality than a Bam but to just make sure .If the golden rule dont piont a gun at any one is observed .

    Are you having a laugh .If the cross hair is revolving in the scope it is no good.Just checking your scope isn t rototing in the scope rings?.

    My 97 shoots great nothing done to it.When it goes wrong I will tune it .

    On the wiehrauch site I did remember something about the slot the mag goes into .The slot is not machined out .Each side of the slot is a seperate piece of metal bolted to gether.So the bolts my be loose or your scope may be pulling the slot together...and so on...go to wiehrauch owners site get more information.

    I have thought of density ....In a spring guns cilinder in the cold there is more air molicules than when warm.On completion of the pistons stroke when shooting the pellet the air is heated .So in the cold gun at that piont it has more air behind the pellet,because heated air expands.and the cold gun has a stiffer spring and the heated air has no were to go......I am just concerend about power a the mussel dont drag the pellet traveling through the air into it ,it is already enough

    I have done a little test ,and to save me shooting more pellets ,I am asking .Has any one noticed ?.I feel spring guns have more power in the cold due to the spring being more stiff .All so pcp s are less powered in the cold like CO2 guns , and not just due to grease slowing the mechanisem .My theoben has no grease in it but has a power drop in cold .The drop and rise in power are small but noticeable I feel.

    I have only had two bipods the stealth one for the stealth sold it with the stealth ,and a cheapo one of ebay.The cheapo bipod of ebay has to be as good as the stealth bipod, if not better .The cheapo bipod is a lot cheaper than the stealth bipod .I am thinking of getting another cheap bipod taller than my present bipod and tilting my current bipod desent tilt.I am happy with my current bipod.

    even if the barrel is bent the pellet will fly straight .put some packing in the front scope ring .see what that does.the bend is from shooting the gun with the breech open .

    I have wondered if the thunder bolts are good at cleaning the barrel .By scraping the barrel smooth and leaving just enough lead in the barrel.you have gotten the same result as me after shooting the thunder bolts my next shots were very accurate with normal lead pellets.
