  1. how many screws in each of your mounts .six in each mount you will be ok but if there is only 3 in each mount you may get a problem also
  2. good quality two piece .never had a problem.far more adjustable than one piece .
  3. and after all that.... .You will have to keep an eye on scope creep, bits of packing are not ideal and may come loose or move .scope creep being a problem with spring guns .I had a quick look at your gun on the net .the scope rail doesnt appear to have any hole or notches to fit an arrester pin ,in the picture I looked at .If so this may or may not give you a problem in the future so if your piont of impact moves do not think only, Oh I have to adjust the scope the packing or the scope may have moved .
  4. as above..... .but reading what you have written you may have damaged your scope in some way buy turning the turret to much trying to compensate for your barrel being moved after the drop.
  5. Yes TIMMYTREE my comprehension and computing skills are poor.Thankfully poor comprehension is not a prerequisite to contributing to the site, nether is a poor sense of humor ,endowed to most dictatorial type .If so we would both be removed from this site .I do believe in free speech .I believe you should be able to say any thing, unlike these forums and the free society in which we live, there are restrictions .So keep the intellectual abuse flowing it is very funny.
  6. dont use any ,but squirrels up trees [or close up] has to be the only time I would think you had an advantage over scope or red dot ect .
  7. Is that a question or a statement? No punctuation makes it difficult to comprehend as do your first 3 posts on the subject which prove you neither read nor understood the original problem. That makes your replies nothing more than uneducated guesses which doesn't help the OP at all. Blackbriar wanted help, not half arsed guesses.....WhO,,."W4NTs[,] a ,\ fIGHt..
  8. and horror of horrors stoegers are not always the best built guns I have read only.[even the best build guns can have problems] there may be a build issue but if the gun groups ok that is not to much of a problem .you will just have to get your scope right.
  9. next time I go for some new glasses I may look at some cataracts surgery as well .my screen seem so dark nowadays
  10. also 12 yards if the pellet is bang on at about 20 yards it will be 1 inch ish high and at 30 yards bang on again 35 yards an inch low ish.
  11. Barrel drop is when your barrel is bent down from so much use .unless you have bashed your barrel open to hard in 150 shots .is your gun closing shut nice and tight.
  12. try swopping you mounts .front one at back ,back to the front to prove it is not your mounts .
  13. I think the super domes are tighter in your barrel now before the aa were tight in your barrel due to expansion of the soft lead.you should try falcon accuracy .They are all jsb pellets they make similar pellets with the soft lead jumbo exact, express ,and rs they look the same ish but have different weights .jumbo exact = air arms field=fx=gaystate select are the same or very close .may not be 100 percent with the names but thats the idea ......falcon accuracy =jsb rs ....mosquito express =jsb express or very close, good enough for an experiment with.
  14. HALFINCH shoot a stupid heavy pellet like logan penetrator 20.5 grain ect .watch the power drop .
  15. I would think wasp pellets were a good average pellet to use .quite fair, not what one is led to believe of the police today .
  16. there is a gauge on the pump I guess .pump gun a few times and read pumps gauge that will tell you how much air is in the gun .pump gun to 150 ish bar shoot 25 ish shots taking the gun down to 120 ish bar .this will be the top of power curve ish .you can pump gun to 190 bar and shoot down to 90 bar giving a lot more shots but a big power curve .shooting at close range that will be fine with a big power curve .you will have to experiment to fined the best fill pressure and how many shots.
  17. he has to cut the spring so then we will know .superdomes are good pellets in spring guns .so if my gun only shoots superdomes well thats fine .but if superdomes stop
  18. superdomes the best 11.7 aa field best 10.9 .another thing I have a tx 200 177 shooting defiant pellets at 11.2 but when I try falcon accuracy plus the power drops a lot I think the soft lead pellet must expand and grip the barrel .The falcon are very accurate but only tried them out to 13 yards .
  19. your spring may be very over powered .I have had a similar problem I had a webley omega shooting at 12.5 with a new spring .the only pellets I could get to group where bisley long range gold .before the new spring allsorts of pellets worked .any way I chopped coil after coil of the spring with strange results .the power went up to 15ftlbs and chopping of more spring the gun went down to 11.5 and most pellets shoot fine again.....I feel the massive push from the piston distorted the pellets then bounced back giving 12.5 then the spring was perfect at 15 ftlbs then legal and smooth at 11.5 lbs .
  20. dont know if it is true .I read that someone kept a chicken alive with out a head for a long time putting food a water down its neck.
  21. The gun is a few years old .does it shoot ok do the parts on the gun fit well if yes ,does it matter were it is made .If the gun work now after time then it has had some quality control .The gun good have been made s..t in the UK and made well in Spain .
  22. I can not see how you can harden and temper a large coil spring with out an oven .i used to make springs [not coil springs] and harden and temper pins in a forge by hand .I would not like to heat a finished spring I would cut the spring and put the cut end into a top hat.I would like to see a lot of these heated collapsed springs after time .I am not saying it is not possible but I connot see how it is not a bit hit and miss .I would try to get the correct spring and polish the ends for a top job .but cutting or heating the spring yourself you will get to know a bit more one way or the other.
