Pro Sport Or Hw97K
barrywhite replied to tomospants's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
The one thing I dont like about the 97k is the gun cannot be decocked .you can decock the tx200 i know ,the pro sport i dont know but I would think you could ,a small point . I also dont like the ratchet sound when cocking a tx that can be overcome by holding the ratchet open when cocking the gun. -
a spring gun no worries .if it looks good and cocks fine.a complex hw 100 ???? if you dont have a clue a bout guns or mechanical things a bit scarey .

i have bought 7 second hand guns with minor to be expected or no problems .happy to buy second hand but I would not recommend someone to do this .If the person got a problem after using my recommendation they may blame me.

its a sad fact I like most people with air guns use them at home and seldom that is a valid reason .In the rest of europe hunting with airguns is not a valid reason it is illegal. As for lethal weapons Mr MacasKill in America a country full of violence and guns there are more murders each year with bats than guns .Children can use bats at present unsupervised James Bulger oh my mistake they used a brick and paint ,we could live in tents they dont have to be painted . The arguements and comparisons are endless mate and we could go on forever. We'll just agree to disagree on some things a li -

Correct Public Highways often cross private land. And if there is no one going to be interupted, endangered or injured, then your left with the old "If a tree falls in the forrest and there is no one to hear it, does it make a sound?" scenario. Nonsense!!! Whether the public road goes through private land or not...its still a public road and you cannot fire an air rifle in a public place so well and truly against the law!!! Anyway...i only gave my opinion with regards to the original post. I think they should be licensed and the power should be whatever the license holder wants or n -

What if you like shooting tin cans in your garden? Why should people without a clean bill of health not have air guns ?At present people with out a clean bill of health have access to air guns at present and have had for hundreds of years with no problems. Also people with a clean bill of health being the vast majority of users do cause problems from time to time how do we stop this problem? -

on the train lines near me there was a news report teens were throwing bricks and scaffold poles ect at the moving trains they were also seen to be using an AIRGUN .Out of the three items stated which is the most dangerous to the train driver the bbc reporters tone would suggest the air gun .If the bbc reporter had his way the idiots who shot at your car would of had only bricks and scaffold poles . -

I concur. 20ftlbs would be a dream here in uk but the chance of a death by an accidental shooting would increase, when this happened , then there would be a problem .There will be an accidental shooting death at some time in the future ,it is odds on ,and its going to be bad enough then .plenty of distorted reporting in the news bad this ban that but in comparison the daily deaths from cars that can exceed 70 mph and some by exceeding 70 mph is trivial compared to GUN CRIME. -
If the gun was fore sale local and on the cheap side .I could then see gun and ask owner questions I would be tempted to buy second hand .If the gun is a 22 then I know the owner has a genuine reason for sale he knows he has made a mistake and is getting a 177.So if I want to ruff it with a 22 bargain .

Morals and respect are not the responsibility of the schools but of the parents. My parents taught the right way to behave not the schools, trouble is to day there is to many Broken homes and the parent's just don't give a Shit , this is going from one generation to generation I fully agree parental responsibility is paramount in society; but in recent years parents or guardians along with the schools are very restricted in what punishment they may mete out. This has encouraged youngsters to push their luck to get away with that bit extra. I work part time as a relief caretaker at my lo -

you will shot gun with your hands and sight in accordingly -
If you want a nightmare to shoot with get .25 or more .plenty of hold over then .none of that hitting stuff at 40 yards with out pointing gun well over the target ,and shooting at tin cans in .25 would cost a lot more than 177 .
