If you ever see TR robb drilling into the valve stem of a stealth on a tuning vid it will help you to make up your mind.

Brocock Concept Super6

He means 20 shots a bit low on power 20 shots on full power then 20 shots a bit low on power .So from a full fill of air the 20 shots in the middle are the sweet spot. -
I have been messing with chair gun not sure if I am getting things right .If the vid is to be believed then the pellets have a BC .07 and at 50 yards they will arrive with 10 ft lbs of energy .Is this possible .
-
I was about to try 22s in my s400 but got a bit scared they might get stuck in the barrel
-
just done a quick test with my hw 100 in 177 .there are two sizes 4.46 and 4.5 .4.46 came out at full power the 4.5 just made 10 ft lbs .so I then shot only the 4.46 at thirteen yards and they grouped ok .So if you want to gamble on what size .I shoot average pellets in my hw 100 mosquito express ,lazapells, air arms field 4.52 or 4.51 with no big difference not 2 ft lbs .got some 22 as well god know why.
-
they are stupidly good but my nan has not got one yet
-
I dont see a real point .I have shot two rabbits dead with one shot by luck with a light 177 at about 15 to 25 yards .So I may go for three in a row now or people using 22 will have a chance of getting 2 rabbits with one shot.Unfortunately after seeing the vid I will now have buy to some of these pellets to try them out .More s... to buy

I have both 97 tx200 its the only way to find out .I like my 97 a bit more .I dont like the position of the tx trigger .my 97 is 11.5 ftlbs my tx is 11ftlbs but my tx is still a bit stiff and new feeling .The tx feels and looks a bit better made than the 97.I like the round underside of the 97 s forend the tx is flat .but someone may like the trigger on a tx .they may like there gun shooting at 11 ftlbs and they may like a flat forend .

Hw 100 .22 Spread Grouping

check with crono..try different pellets -
If you have taken the end cap of then a baffle may help .for a baffle you could use a washer .the hole in the center would have to be just big enough for the pellet to pass through .the washer would have to be an exact fit for the tube.to hold the washer in place use two springs that fit closely to the tube and wrap a bit of material round the springs .

Dodgy Scope?how Would I Know
barrywhite replied to sparkycrew's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
try the scope on a different gun .[pcp] shake scope see if it makes a noise like something is loose inside .check the turrets are tight and any screws holding them are tight..check your mounts are tight ,make sure you hold your head in the same position every time you shoot. -
Will It Be Good
barrywhite replied to shootingmadgeorge's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
If the gun is mint it may need a few more shots to run the gun in .mine was like that it shoots great know .you want to look up how to shoot a spring air gun , you cannot just hold the gun as hard as you can and shoot you have to hold the gun as loose as possible and shoot....all most....I have a camera try pod with a piece of inner tube stretched over a bit of a fork on the top to shoot my springer of .a bit like a fishing rod rest but I just use it for sighting in.. -
Phoenix Fast Fire 10 Or Mk2
barrywhite replied to evenbad's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
The gun looks like it will loose less air than verminator when you screw the bottle on and of.The cocking looks like a good idea if you are stationary but when you walk about it may be a problem .When I walk about with my verminator I carry the gun by the handle .The verminator is light but a bit of a funny gun to carry I think .If the handle on the verminator was also the cocking lever moving around cocking and loading the gun as you carried the gun about my be a problem ,or a different way to carry the gun would have to be devised .Still it may be a good gun .The biggest pain with a verminat -
I have seen someone put a 500 cc bottle on a verminator instead or the standard 400cc .that would be a better thing to do than put on a regulator I think.
-
I dont think fx are regulated just some of the cyclones are i think
-
I have no idea but using the vermiator has made me think again about regulators .I like the unregulated verminator using the gun from 150 to 130 bar all the shots are bang on .the high pressure gives a fast lock time.the big bottle of air means 50 60 shots easy at the top of the power curve .I would not regulate my verminator even if someone would do it for free.
-
I only shoot my verminator from 150bar to 130bar [may be 155 t0 125] gives a better shot count than my hw 100 k .All the shots are full power and the lock time is quicker with the verminator compared to the hw 100 .There is more noise from the verminator action because the hammer is opening a valve with more pressure 150 bar ,90 bar with the hw100 .With my vermator and hw100 the only reason my hw 100 is a better gun is because it has a better sight some big scope with sr12 retical the verminator has a 5x scope and a cross hair .I still use the verminator more.
-
I have a verminator mark 1 very good gun .
-
hw 100 or s410 ..not s510
-
If it s to solve a vermin problem and money is no object hw 100 .If you want fun shooting and still capable rifle 97k .the air arms is still a good choice .If any of the guns came up cheap and in good condition second hand that would be my first choice .
-
I shot some dynamics, only out to 13 yards there were bang on out of and old webley 22 [5.6] but that is not far .tried thunderbolt they were total rubbish
-
above is a better solution ......I did get a lightning with the intention of putting a gas ram in the gun when the spring fails .the bsa gamo spring broke quite soon so no problem so I put in the gas ram ????.but my solution to getting a good spring gun for shooting rabbits was a second hand 97k .
-
you have to do a bit of customizing .file a bit of the pin that holds the main spring in the gun if I remember .When I put the gas ram in my gun it shot well for a short while .I did leave the gun cocked but that is why I got the gas ram so I could .After a short time the gas ram leaked oil and lost power when I fitted the gas ram it shot at 11.8 ft lbs bang on but it lost power . I have gone back to a well fitted spring with a top hat and tight spring guide.I would not get another gas ram .
-
I have a verminator mark 1 .I like it very much I shoot it from about 150 to 130 bar top of power curve. I got the gun on a wim to see what they are like ,it make me think a gladiator shot between 150 to 130 bar in 177 must be a very good gun to shoot .
