I have a tx200 mark 2 and a 97k ...I like the plain stock of the 97k and the cliccccccckkk when loading the tx is a bit annoying at times . but the tx can be loaded quietly and decocked .It would be nice if AA made a plain ambidextrous stock .If you are determined to get AA a prosport may be the way to go .
shooting a pcp with no pellet and full air cylinder is ok ,but shooting a pcp with no air or very little in the cylinder may cause a problem in some guns with the hammer hitting more than just a valve stem because the hammer has no air pressure to slow its progress .
I was able to get a part from holland or gemany not sure which country now , a part for hw 100 nothing strange or illegal but they can post straight to home address , because they are not based in the uk .
the bbc are doing the governing powers bidding .the government work for the governing power not the people the governing powers want the sheeple disarmed .that is what this story is about never a positive gun story cars kill more people and cats [not rabbits] every year and the bbc s top show is TOP GEAR ..do rabbits get run over by cars I am 55 and never driven a killer car .
remember all of the insects KILLED to produce fruit and veg .Also we have to suffer the cancer causing chemicals found in insecticides that give the insects a SLOW and PAINFUL death .
cooking a rabbit is news ... factory farmed chicken next week I hope ....If we were not supposed to eat animals god would not have made them out of meat .
I would think it dosent have a large shot count . Also the gun is unregulated I would think ,so shooting in the guns sweet spot there would not be a mass of shots at 12 ft lbs.If the gun is regulated well then it would be a very good gun .quick to load single shot and light .
I have wondered about this gun to .Interesting to collect and use but out classed by a usual single shot Air Arms or similar I would think . If one was cheap and near me I would be tempted but there are a lot of different guns I would like but a spitfire is bottom of the list. We may find out fore sure .
hw 95 has to be better get a small quality mil dot scope .If it costs a little more it would be worth it .A lightning is a hard gun to shoot accurately because the trigger is a bit heavy ,so you will shoot loads of pellets practicing .A hw is a better build than gamo oh i mean bsa usually .
you may also need to heat the silence up with a paint stripper gun .I had the problem and a bit more ,I think the silencer is also thread lock type glued in place .my silencer is a little of center I heated the silencer up with two hair dryers to try and straiten it with no luck .What I did do was start the problem you have .So one day I tryed to remove the silencer by heating it up with a paintstripper gun I could not get it of .so I bashed it back on while hot with a hide mallet .the silencer has since slowly moved on to the barrel a little more making my catch work perfectly .I did loosen
I have a 97k and a tx 200 mark 2 both in 177 .for me I like the 97k better a plain gun .My 97 had to shoot a few 1000 pellets to run it in .but the tx looks better .
the front lense not the one you look through .even if you have a/o on the scope it still helps .If you have big magnification and no way to lessen it .experiment with hole size .you need a compass ,scissors piece of paper and a elastic band .
have you filled to 150 bar + and left it .if it dosent loose air then .the air is coming out of the valve at 100 bar .If you let the air pressure drop to low then the valve dosent close properly releasing all the air on some guns .This may not be the problem but it is worth a try .
the old tin says ...500 ELEY WASP... it has no bar code on the lid .....the new tin says...... No1 4.5mm (.177) WASP.... there is a bar code on the lid 8 4882000668 6 . if they are the old 177 then you may get some good pellets cheap.
purple 5.6 mm ..all the new wasp I have tried are cr.p . I had some old 177 s that were good [from the 80s] new 177 s that were cr.p both red tins .I have a webley omega that shoots 5.6 wasps a lot better than 5.5 wasp pellets but it shoots a lot of other pellets better than wasps .
pellet weight is not the only factor some pellets could be a tight fit in the barrel giving a lower power .test a spring gun with different medium to light weight pellets test a pcp with medium to heavy pellets at least .all shots must be under 12 ft lbs .
you can tell if its mark 2 or 3 if the three little cuts in the side of the air cylinder are spaced evenly its mark 2 if they are a bit differently spaced its a mark 3 . As far as i know ....also the mark 2 is supposed to be better suited to 12 ft lbs because it has a smaller air cylinder .
