    the scope may be faulty . check the scope dovetail rail fits . its a bit funny on a lightning . its this bash on fit and sandwiched between the rail and the air cylinder is some rubber strips . check that little locking bolt in the rail . check the breech when it shuts the barrel dose not move and all the pins there at the breech are not moving .check the scope mount screws and all the stock screws . as stated above the gun is a nightmare to shoot sometimes it is very hold sensitive a change in style when shooting will move the shot all over the place .

    this is part of the anti gun fettish being promoted through society because the people at the top of society fear an armed population for abvious reasons . airguns are a gateway guns for sure . looking here and there on the net are they not trying out law semi automatics now through out europe . fore the UN,s soviet style takeover of the planet the population must be unarmed like the white russians .air guns are just the crumbs we have left .

    this a bit of a con because the crumpling of the lead against metal plate will absorb some energy , but ?????? . they must band exercise rubber to be SAFE also .

    I think mabe some spring guns sometimes diesel on the first shot . If you are saying your fisrt shot is low this could be what is happening , if your gun diesels a little the pellet leaves the gun quicker .So when the gun bounces up with the action of the piston moving the pellet goes up . So if the pellet is moving faster it shoots lower because the pellet leaves the gun before the barrel goes up .

    I dont want to get into the 22 /177 stuff ..you like 177 .177 does what you want from your experience , the pellets are cheaper why change . get 177 you will be happier .

    at 100 yards a light 177 leaving a gun at 12 ft lbs will kill a rabbit . if you can hit it correctly, hitting it correctly is the problem .power is not .

    big is not better always .I have a white tail scope with a 20 mm objective lens . It is an excellent scope 1.5 x 5 mag only the only problem is it has 30/30 rectal not a mil dot which I prefer . air guns have a short range for hunting 9 x 4 x 40mm is a good trade of . if you are just sniping of a bi pod or a rest and not carrying the gun about maybe any scope you want is fine

    if you are sitting waiting for a shot single shot is better the gun can be decocked , at night in the dark a mag is better , dont loose the mag count your shots .

    The blackwidow style catty is ok but I find them harder to shoot bang on . I am no expert I have had a blackwidow since 1978/9 thought is was fantastic then I still feel they are good , but I have gone back to a traditional style catty and a little more practic , I am very happy with the results

    How do you mean match the bands with ammo ? the elastic will only contract at a max speed of xxxx ( not sure what ) so if your catty can shoot a house brick at xxxx it will still only shoot a 9.5 bb at the same speed .If your bands are weak but able to shoot a bb at xxxx that catty will not move a house brick at all . So pulling back bands that can shoot a house brick at xxxx and only shooting a 9.5 bb is a waste of energy .elastic,making the catty harder to shoot accuratly ect.

    charlie caller a wize man once revered by J,F.K. said... when you know the truth you will act... . This is what happened to me when the claims made by the 22 devotes where discovered to be false. I went 177 . Its like dropping the red pill I can no longer go back .

    i am interested in how well your gun holds up .I fear the worst but it would be nice to know how it gets on good or bad . say 1000 pellets down the road .

    the gun you have is ok I have shot loads of rabbits and rats . the gun is light weight and easy to carry but for accuracy a heavy spring gun is better but that is understood by you withy an aa tx200 . I shot a lot of rats and rabbits with my lightning at night . I put a laser sight on the barrel and used nignt vision to see . just shoot the aa with a light .

    I made my own tuning kit . for a 177 an xs spring .a tight derlin spring guide .a top hat made out of high carbon steel with the center drilled out to make it lighter , it was then harded and tempered and polished . all so I made a ptfe washer and dropped that in the piston for the top hat to twist on .It improved the gun a lot,smoother and quieter but you still have to have a knack to shooting it .I would think it will be a problem if you put a lamp on the gun maybe if you practice with a lamp on the gun has a lot of kick . I put a laser on my lightning and used night vision . I have thought

    I think the rs are the same as falcon accuracy plus or very close . falcon accuracy plus are good in 22 for sure as far as I am concerned . always good to excellent results .

    i have a hawke LRF600 that works ok . It has a problem with the battery compartment the little lid of the compartment come open easy to easy ,the lid could be lost with the battery so I put a piece of electrical tape over it . A bit annoying .If I was getting a new rangefinder finder it would have to have the display screen that illuminated so it could be used at night . My range finder doesnt have a illuminated display that is something I would consider if I was getting a new range finder as some new range finders have this . I have not used a range finder with a illuminated display they they
