    In my opinion a dog aint just for a season, but besides that you will be lucky to get a good dog full stop, the season is upon us, id be careful if someone offers you a guarenteed dog ask to see it run first go out with them cos if a dogs 100% why sell it......just my opinion.

    I have just got a young bull x and am soon to get a whippet and i was wondering where in bolton is best to run them on rabbits to bring them on, if anyone has any ideas or knows of anywhere id be really greatful.

    thats what im thinking, i said in previous thread i have only ever worked or bred bull greyhounds but know from their size at 18 weeks they were as big as he is and easily made 26/'27. so im not 100% he is a small dog like beddy whippet. ill have to post his progress, im pumping plenty of mince and working dog mix in to him so im sure ill soon know whats running through his veins.

    I rescued this pup and have since posted a thread on here for some opinions of which a few said beddy cross but i cant help thinking more deer hound, he is only 18 weeks and stands 16 n half inch tts, his nose is pointy rather than blunt beddy type so im gonna add a couple more pics for further opinions, cheers guys.

    i used to run my dogs with a friend who had a 5/8 3/8 bull greyhound which had chewed its tail so bad it was docked he was an amazing worker both day and lamp on all quarries before and after docking, i was told that his balance should have been affected but it clearly was not, he was always a 3 out of 3 dog.

    well that suits me, a nice little pocket rocket for bunnies, cant wait to get him coursing, i asume they are just as easy to train?

    So what size do you think he will grow too? he is really tiny boned like a whippet so im assuming he wont get much bigger.

    well i was thinking along the lines of whippet x beddy which would be ideal, but i was thrown by the fact he is 16 tts already, i have not had anything other than bull greyhounds though so a little useless when it comes to other lurchers.

    I have just rescued a broken coated pup, he has a slight overbite and the look of a deerhound x or beddlington x but cant make my mind up ,he is said to be 18 weeks his front adult teeth are all present but k9 still to come, he stand at 16 inch tts. I have kept and worked bull greyhounds for years but always got them from trusted stock, but after finding out he was a farm bred dog living in his own mess i had to rescue him with the intention of bringing him on and running him on small quarry. any suggestions on how to determin the cross? cheers carl.
