each to their own mate just a shame at the end of the day its the hare that suffers through no fault of its own. what damage would a man or 2 and a dog or 2 do hyperthetical question like Not just the man or 2 with a dog, it is now the 4x4s containing all the people following them! Blasphemy! Take it back. Moderator delete his post, he's swearing! Hahahaha I know what you mean. It's that Thumbhole stock that does it for me. I had a Sporter stock 97K and it lost out to the craftsmanship and refinement of that on the TX200. Otherwise I couldn't make my mind up, both superb quality pieces of kit. I know each to their own, some hate the thumbholes but for me its a very smart move on Wiehrauch's part and is enough to keep the 97 forever lurking in my mind... better grip better control with thumbhole and thats what you need when shooting with a springer and it looks

hi si,yes i like it a lot,i you have to think more with the springer with the recoil theres more skill required but i am getting there,you need plenty of practice with them they are heavy to hold but do have that build quality with the hw97 and you havent got the hassle of pumps or cylinders to worry about,but will get a hw100 next year i hope depends on work realy. atb symon

i did look at one but i like the wood more,cheers bud atb symon I'd agree the plastic thumbhole would be my choice as there is a new .22 one on a Facebook page for 270 but I am very tempted when I get back from my holiday Lewis thats a good deal for that they are more money this end. atb symon
