Horses for courses I reckon, but I use my trusty old HW35 (heavily modded) and love it! I'm sure I'd like a pcp too but the expense and the faffing with charging etc puts me off! maybe one day I'll go pcp but for now I reckon you just cant beat being able to pick up your gunbag and your pellets and you're ready!

depends where they live I reckon - I eat the ones i get from the byre on my permission - their crops only ever have grain in them. I wouldnt eat towny one though! eww!

Hi registered here after it was recommended by a friend, so looking forward to gettin to know you all and seeing what I can learn At the moment I shoot with an air rifle, but am planning on the SGC soon - though first baby on the way so not sure how that'll pan out! I have a large munsterlander, been too worried to get him out other peoples shoots yet, cos I'm sure he'll show me up but on the other hand I reckon he needs that now to help him join the dots on what all the individual bits of training are for!! He's just young though, so next season hopefully!
