  4. Thats what I am trying to work out mate. Have not worked for nearly 3 years, since I had a stroke, I dont claim any benefits, so money is tight. Car just managed a spectacular MOT fail, I cant look for job without a car so need to sort that out. Just weighing the options mate.
  5. Give me a day or so on the crombo guys. Got to decide exactly what I am gonna do . You have first dibs Marksman no matter what mate. When I decide you will get first refusal. e

  7. Just wondering if there is any interest in buying a HW100S in .22? Reason for asking, i think its a pain to post for sale in multiple forums as it is hard to keep track of offers etc. So if no interest here I will post on other forums. Sale will be pick up only.
  8. This might help mate http://www.rspb.org.uk/wildlife/birdguide/name/l/lesserblackbackedgull/index.aspx
  9. Only the Lesser Black-backed gull is on general license for England now mate. Other types have been removed.
  10. If that's your total budget mate then I would suggest a good springer. If you get a pcp then you will have to budget for either a pump or bottle to fill it.
  11. Nice gun, and certainly it is one you will enjoy using. Thinking of selling my HW100S .22 at the moment, just struggling to bring myself to do it. Cant decide how to price it also. Probably around 500 without scope 570 with, something like that.
  12. I am glad to hear you got it sorted out , and in quick time too.
  13. A&M Custom would do it for you. Its about half hour drive from Chesterfield if that helps you. http://www.amcustomgunsmiths.com/
  14. charging adapter for the s400 should come with the gun. Gauge and hose costs around 40-50 quid or so.
  15. Compressed air ONLY in pcp airguns mate. use something else at your peril, at the least you could damage the gun, at the worst it will take your head off.
  16. here you go mate, on the lid of AA field 5.52 it says weight is 1.037 grams If you use this converter it comes out at 16.0033grains. http://www.metric-conversions.org/weight/grams-to-grains.htm
  17. How did you reach that pellet weight mate? AA fields are listed in chairgun at 15.9 grains... I have weighed thousands of them and usually varies betweem 15.8 and 16.2 so I use 16grain as a good average. If they are really 16grain then your readings are really around max 11.2 min 10.2
  18. Get the gun on a chrono first. Until then you will not know if its a power issue or something else.
  19. I need a new postman... all mine ever brings is bloody bills
  20. There used to be multi shot conversion called the Hawk Conversion. Pretty sure it is not available any more, though mat be wrong. So probably have to try and source one second hand somewhere.
  21. If you are talking about rabbits then general licences do not apply. So would not be an argument in court. As regards the baby rabbit , it nay have been to early in its life to take away. The white spot/flash on its head gets smaller as it develops and grows, in this case it could mean the baby was still nursing from mum and would be pretty hard to keep alive in captivity. Just an idea.
  22. Might be caused by filling too quickly , try just trickling the air in.
  23. If the anti tamper thing is important to you then it might be worth checking out a new gun from Daystate. By all accounts they are now going to allow RFD to remove anti tamper , or supply guns non anti tamper if customer requests. Without voiding warranty. :clapper: Apparently this has been confirmed by factory. As much as I love my HW100 , then unless Weihrauch follow suit, I will be looking at a Daystate soon.
