i picked my pup at 8 weeks to the day i wanted a pup from Alex because he has put out some nice stuff the best way to choose a pup from hancock is to go in the pen take note which pup is interested in playing if you can find one i choose on confidence not looks and one that will chase my hand at the time hancock said i am surprised any play with you!!!! two or 3 from the litter wanted to play i looked at the 3 then went on conformation choosing the pup that came to me first, then i kept the pup in the house and around the kid for about a month now its a right cocky gob shite as it should be

I've just been reading this thread Long Before The Ban, Mobile Phones, Internet, Saluki Crosses, Matches, And Comps, Clubs, I agree its a great thread but maybe we should be discussing the future of our sport? in every form of life we need to move with the times or get left behind those who can move with the times as a general rule succeed ! these days farmers are ok with lurcher men if asked in the right manner, you just need to prove your worth, i have been lucky enough to able to make a living through pest control all of which started with my love of country sports so it c

That's a good question !! i guess more brain power, a stronger build and frame less likely to damage its self and perfect for breeding a 5/8 3/8. other than that not a lot. why anyone would call a 3/4 bred a moochers dog beats me one of the best lamping mutts i have seen was bred that way, most professionals use collie bred lurchers

with mine when they get to around 7 to 8 years old and done a good service for me i like to return there years of service and retire them off to my old dears to become a house dog she walks them twice a day, they live inside and every vet bill they face i pay till they drop or put to sleep. she has two of mine now witch lived together for 5 years now they chill together still catching rabbits while walking the fields, which upset the old dear when they bring them live to hand lol bless her. This works for me but in truth they take some replacing and the new pup takes years to gets to stand -

About 18 years ago i was asked by my uncle who owned the family farm to head to the field which was in the centre of the village that we rented out to some horse folk for grazing, the local vilagers had been complaining the rabbits were eating the veg they had planted, i was told to let the folks know who we rented the fields to. so when a good windy dark night came up i rang mrs arse ! and left a message on her anwser phone, around 10pm i started lamping and the rabbits were easy one after another great i thought, after emptying the first field i went in the next and as i crossed the water ta
