    Hey guy I don't think hares like box traps as I've got a coupple more in wire traps but not a thing in the wooden traps killed a fox that was trying to get to one of my traps proably coz their was a baby trapped with the mother has any one eps found this any ways I'm just going to use wire traps for them as it's workin for me as I'm relocating them to a better hunting ground moved 9 so far should be good

    deerhound/greyhound to a wolfhound/greyhound Australian staghound takes rabbits under the lamp best is 18 of 20 slips and takes hare during the day 3 of 4 consistantly and smashes fox when she gets the chance thats what i use here in oz

    there are a lot of different colours in oz because of pets being released i find they are an easy catch for the dogs

    thanks guys have just checked my other traps i set four wooden box traps and two wire traps the wire traps had one each but the wooden havent been touched i used piss from ones the staghound caught i have re set them and ill see if i have any luck with the wooden ones

    hi guys i have kept a lot of ferrets and i use a product called Fenol its a very strong smelling disenfectant i dont know if u have it over there but it works a treat just clean out their cage with it every two weeks and if on concrete do that to you will hardly notice it

    thanks fellas was just asking because i met a fella from uk who brought a bull/grey over very good dog on hare but he wouldnt let on wat blood it had looked like apbt but could have been staffy ,thanks for the info will put a apbt over my greyhound bitch, i hunt fox and hare will probally keep to bitches and put them back to a greyhound thanks will put some pics up when im done

    hi fellas just curious what bully blood is used for ur crosses im in australia and they use english bullterriers but look a lot different to the ones i see on here is it pit or staffy blood u guys use as i have access to staffy or pit blood to put over my grey bitch and do u guys use a female grey or male grey just because i was wondering if it made a difference to how they turn out as i dont want short dogs like pitt/staffy thanks in advance

    dogs over here work just like the rest its just that ours can hunt hare and fox still so ours would have a leg upon that

    we have a few over here in oz there only a few bloke who breed them but re mainly use for pigs there are a few bloke who add abit more greyand use on hre and bunnies

    hi there thanks for the replies and for starters i never intended to run down hares i went for bunnies as my bitch has started to pick them up and they were a lot of hares around i normally take her out for a run with my pups so that she gets fit thats all i was trying to do mabye i will wait a little longer on hares but i just want to let you guys know that at 8 months she caught a half grown hare but it was under the lamp thanks again And i live in werribee ,victoria, australia any body else in this area with running dogs if so PM me PS This pic of missy was at 7months old hi there

    hi there i took my whippet out today and she chased mabye 15 hares she came really close but i think she needs a little more time as she is only 10 months :thumbs-up:

    hi there i started breeding ferrets this year i have 4xjills and 2x hobs now my two whites will live in the same hutch but my two darker ferrets will just attack i had to sell one male as he was not intrested in mating or defending him self now their all seperate
