    When cleaning a rifle does everybody use a bore guide?

    Are they .22 blanks that you are using? are they a snug fit in the chamber? there should not be room for case to blow out its side! is the locking mechanism holding everything tight shut when you load it and close it prior to firing? Is the tube in the actual dummy in good order? no holes in it for gas to vent?

    Thanks for that. I have been loading 35gn v max and 40 gn Blitzking but just fancied trying the 30gn bergers. I have the CZ 527 Hornet and i have modified a spare mag to fit the longer 40gn ballistic tips of Blitzking and Vmax.

    I am going to load some of these for my Hornet. Does anyone else load these? What OAL etc?

    Iwould go for the . 22LR as they are much cheaper to run than HMR. you can pick up decent second hand rimmys for next to nothing.
