Lost my red Lakeland/Patterdale Bitch on Wednesday Evening 12th January 2011 on an embankment off Styrrup Golf Course, close to the A1M Motorway about 3 miles north of Blyth Motorway Services. I was out shooting rabbits, sent my dog to retrieve and she never came back.

Work to ground! She'd go down a mole hole if she could. she's very good when ferrets kill in you only have to open a hole up and she's in to drag dead rabbit out. doesnt she kill the ferrits A well trained terrier will recognise ferrets as hunting partners, and quickly learns that ferrets going down an hole usually means rabbits or rats are coming out shortly.

Photo of Fizz and her new Pup Lizzie out of her litter of 5. This is the pup we are keeping. Hope she turns out as good as her mother.

Here is a photo of my 2 and a half year old Terrier Bitch. Has an excellent nose for marking rats and rabbits. I often take her ferreting rabbits into long nets or purse nets. She does an excellent job of holding rabbits in nets if I'm busy dealing with another rabbit in a different net.

I took my litter of 5 Lakeland/Patterdale pups to my local Vet on 12th March for tail docking, I had several letters from landowners with permission to control pests and vermin on their land. This was good enough reason to have tails legally docked. Pups were 2 days old when this was done. Cost £10 per pup. Mother of pups also had her tail docked 2 and a half years ago by the same Vet in Gainsborough. Taking them all back to Vets on 16th April for chipping.
