  1. Nice dog mate. Well done with the litter, now your an expert breeder you will be breeding goats next.
  2. Great post that Cocker. Takes me back to late seventies when if my Grandad was on nights I would skive off school and go out on a nearby airfield with him after Hares. He used to keep his own line of whippets. Unbelievable to think you can catch Hares with them LOL
  3. Enjoyed that. What part of Spain is it. What's the nearest airport.
  4. Definitely a good pet home cos it will be a home for life. Half of the bell e##s out there who reckon they no it all but put no time or effort into a pup will get rid of it in the blink of an eye if in their opinion it doesn't make the grade. There's too many lurchers in rescue centres.
  5. It's happening by me as well. Lads lamping of the back of trucks and shooting anything worst of all leaving it there. Sickening finding dad Hares. Why shoot anything and leave it there. Farmers are having to gate and lock all their fields.
  6. Them pups look really well Jigsaw. Well done. Sorry about the pic I've edited the post she's on there now.

If you've got a iPod or smart phone you can download an app called 5k run. Put year ear phones on start the app then play your music the app the tells you when to run and when to walk. Within 6 weeks it builds you up to 5k. I did it and then I progressed on 10 k and within 4 months I'd gone from being a fatty to running 10 k. Just do as it tells you.
  8. Good point. I don't no really. I got into it nearly 40 years ago when my Grandad kept working whippets. I remember being really young just after Xmas and a Hare jumping up in front of us and after a 2 minute course his Whippet Blue nailed it .I was hooked from that moment to this. After that I eventually had my own lurcher, then I moved to Lincoln for a few years where I played football with a lad called Chris Moyes who owned Captain. He got me into coursing on the fens. When I go out lamping now my lad who is 11 comes sometimes, he says he wants one of his own when he's older but w

  12. Yes I've just booked the ferry to come and get one. Cheers. You need security these days too many dogs stolen. Heard of a litter and the Mother stolen recently. They loaded them into an Ivor Williams trail or and had that away as well. The bitch is doing alright this pic was 7 months ago I will take some more. She is a lot stronger now.

  15. Nice young dog that. Best of luck and take your time with him.
  16. EXPENSIVE . The dog will have to have had his Rabies Jab, a Pet Passport and be in anAirline Approved pet crate. The dog would have to come in via Heathrow from South America. The price will be calculated on the dogs weight.
  17. Interesting that. Cheers for sharing.
  18. I totally agree with the top thread. My job used to take me past there once every two to three months. I've bought a battery lamp clothes decoys on various visits as well as picking their brains on various rifles. There is usually a brew in your hand within minutes and other time a brew and black pudding. First class place.
  19. Love that picture of the terriers.
