When my daughters were young (bear in mind their both young twenties now) corn beef hash was a staple meal every week, coz it was cheap, I think a tin of asda corn beef was about 15p, my daughters called it poor hash! Then the horse meat scandle raised its head and prices sky rocketed. It might be rose tinted glasses but I think the horse meat tasted better, it was probably better cuts of the horse, rather than the floor toppings of beef. To be honest for a while now, all the once well known cheap cuts that could feed a family aren't so cheap, those celebrity chefs that thought they were

I'd been out watching a fireworks display, got in just in time to see the ring walks, might of missed it but why were the towel heads there singing the national anthem? Funnily enough I was streaming it and when his gloves touched the canvas and didn't get the count and then he floored him seconds later it went off, think it was the third. Couldn't get it back on but thought arwell, it's finished anyway. Wakes up next day to find another 2 rounds went by. To be honest it was finished in the 1st.

I'm sitting bored with a broken hip watching turkey hunting on the pursuit channel and I recall a time I was out with the terriers on a farm with a large patch of woodland, whilst checking earth's for a fox I could hear turkeys gobbling, when the day was finish and we were loading the dogs in the car I asked a farm worker about it. He told us these turkeys had gone feral and been living their a number of years. Now I don't know if these turkeys were breeding, or what breed they were (I understand the big domestic ones can't breed naturally), but what breeds could survive and breed giving

Funny what you say because the bull lurcher is not just bastardizing one great athlete but two, both the best at their chosen profession if you will, but it works and works well. I agree though with the concept. especially if the end result is so you look hard

So I'm picking one up tomorrow. For the lads that use them what kind of regime do you suggest. At the moment because of my hip I plan on using the mill more than I would be when I get better. So my short term plan is (when I've got them use to the mill) have the missus and kids give them a short walk to empty out, then give them 5 mins, take them off cool down, back on for another 5, take off and cool down, then another five. Obviously I'll see how they cope with the first 5 minutes before I add anymore and go from their and either build it up or keep as is. It's sort

Unfortunately not, might of made a bit of money out of it, but I think lying their for 40 mins, separating 3 terriers fighting whilst getting splashed by passing cars might of had people die of laughter

Their Patterdales, I know what your saying about them getting used to it but I've a bitch here that if you put a balloon in front of she turns possessed, so that will be her motivation and a dog that's not fazed by nothing and loves to run, so I don't think it'll take more than a few goes. As for the normal treadmills, their still pretty big and I was gonna get a slatmill anyways, this has just give me the nudge, if the mini ones I've seen will fit my dogs I don't think it'll take up to much space

Right I'm in a predicament, I've been getting me and my dogs fit for the forthcoming season by jogging alot, then the other day whilst running I tripped over the dogs and broke my hip. So I'm out of action for a while and want to keep the dogs fit whilst waiting for recovery, so when I am right, I should be able to get the dogs out straight away. I'm after a small slatmill I've seen them on fire paw, and think they should be big enough for terriers yet small enough to tuck into a corner when not in use, anyone had one? Also anyone got one for sale, don't mind buying new but the waiting time ca
