    my little jack got bitten quite badly by a rat, which at the time made her want to get it even more at the time . went out with he again the other day and she is still hunting then but will not go in to get the rats how can i rebuild her confidence ? hattie

    It's right though, I really don't want to sound like I'm trying to start trouble or moan, but it's just a pointer to people who don't think everything through, then have to rush about trying to get the tails docked. Hi All I am quite capable of docking them myself i have done enough terrier and spaniel pups in the past but two of the people who want pups want it done legal one is an airline pilot the other a fairly high ranking copper they both come ratting with me and don't want to be answering awkward questions in the future.It is ok for people who have nothing to lose( dolies and dosse

    Hi i am looking for a group of people who go ratting in the herts area, i have a keen jack russell i just want to get her out with a pack so she can learn a little more, if anyone can help please let me know thank you harriet

    thank you, i hope it will just one day click in to place for her, im lucky in the face a couple of mates have some experianced ratters, i will just let her work with them for a while i think. hopefully when she sees other dogs working she will learn a little quicker

    i have a little jack x fox terrier and she lack confidence, i got her for ratting which she enjoys but i have to give her constant reasurance and encouragement, i have taken her ferreting and she is good at getting rabbits but at this time of year there is no ferreting. so any ideas on how to get her working for herself would be appriciated thanks harriet

    Hi my name is harriet, i have just moved to Highcliffe from Hertfordshire. im looking to get involved in a couple of groups e.g. ratting,ferreting really any countryside, i have a working black lab and a jack russell who is a little slow mentally and physically but she does try her hardest to catch most things. i also have 2 working ferrets who work really well and was looking for someone close to me with a hob polecat as my girls are due in to season and i would like to breed from one of them. well thats about it really if anyone can help me it would be very appreciated thanks harrie
