  1. I did try it out myself first, it was on low and I get a worst shock off my son's 'shocker' game!!! I even tryed it on it's highest myself and that wasn't even that bad!!! so don't go shouting your mouth off at me, Binx screamed even when I tryed the water pistol method, and shook like a leaf when I tryed banging 2 pans together for the noise method, he freaks out in a thunder storm and is sick everywhere and trembles when he hears fireworks!! I also put the collar on Lexi as she barks at the next door neighbours cat walking along the fence, and it didn't bother her at all, even
  2. totally agree with you! my dog's are spoilt, and because they are my dog's I'm the only one who trains them, but I also have 4 kids too and they must come first, the dog's get a twice daily walk and are fed twice a day too, the only spare time I have to train them has been going on the pup's more than the adults at the moment, they do still jump up on my cousins who I go for walks with but not as much now, were getting there, but they are not the problem it's only my pure bred fawn whippet that whines and howls, the rest of them know the word shut-up and no, but he completely ignores
  3. yes, he can do the basic commands, sit, lie down, give paw, but has never been good at recall, fetch, and stay, and if he see's another dog out walking he barks aggressively if on the lead and if not on the lead he will run up to them, no matter what I say or do to him, and most the time if the other dog turns on him he runs off howling with his tail between his legs, as if he's just been attact but the other dog has only growled a warning at him, if he see's a rabbit he will give chase and is very fast but will not go in cover to get them so has never caught one, he's very highly str
  4. well what a day I've had got the collar this morning read all the instructions and put the collar on low range and fitted it to Binx's vocal cords, my god what a nightmare!!! every time he howled, the collar would kick in and it was like he was being murdered which started the collar off again of course, he was flipping out like crazy, crying and howling like he's was being tourtured slowly!! I thought he'll get the message in a minute, but no, he's thick as shite! this went on for 1 hour! I couldn't take it any longer and removed the collar, give him a rest for a bit (during th
  5. yeah Simoman, I ordered Dogtra YS200 £70 + £5 p&p , I'll do as advised, and I'll be reading the instructions very well before even attempting to use it too
  6. Just ordered the collar, it should be here by Wednesday, I'm praying it works! Thanks Molly, need all the luck I can get, Thanks to everyone else too who's helped with this, I'll let you know how we get on
  7. well just an update, the DAP spray hasn't worked, but it's only been since Friday I've been trying it, I think I'll have to invest in one of them collars tommorow and see how we go with that, Molly, yeah he's had a full M.O.T 3 weeks ago when he went for his nails trimmed (I can do all the rest my self but Binx is such a baby) vet's said he's very healthy, and at the time said that he would get used to being in the kennels and settle down, how wrong were they! lets hope this collar will do the job, before I get evicted for his constant howling!
  8. Thanks Simoman, I'll deffo give it a go if the DAP spray doesn't work, and I'll take your advise and not get the citrus one, thanks very much for the help
  9. thanks for the advise everyone, he's 2 and 1/2 years old, castrated, no bitches on heat, will go and get some DAP spray see if that works, not to keen on the inhibitor collars though, but if it comes to it I'll try it, I'll try anything at the moment! will the collars work even though he's not barking? just whining and howling? keep the advise coming though please
  10. Hi All, I've recently build kennels in my back garden because 5 dogs in the house was getting to much with 4 kids too, all the dogs are brill in them except Binx (racing bred whippet) he howls/whines non stop and just won't settle no matter what I do, he's not on his own he shares with Zak (grew, which he has a bond with most) and the 3 girls are in the other one right next to the boys, the kennels are roomy and the runs are very spacious too, they have been in them for 1 month now and Binx is still a nightmare, and the people next door are complaining now, they have loads of toys to p

  12. ah that's my girl she's looking super Stevo
  13. Stevo them pic's of Sassie crack me up! proper lady of the manner Fezz, yes Keeta, Lexi and Zak have all been out on the lamp with my brother, it took Keeta a couple of times to get the hang of it but Zak is a natural and Lexi wasn't far behind too, couldn't be happier with them got no ferrets though so they haven't even see one of them! had a massive offer for Zak off one of my brothers friends £500 my brother and I both said NO WAY! he's a real rabbit machine and he's staying put for the rest of his life, he'll make a great stud one day, and he's really tall too, he t
  14. they look big strong pups Chucky, good luck with them
  15. good luck Stevo, do let us know how they get on if they are anything like thier other brothers and sisters you'll have no problems at all ALL have caught rabbits so far from 1 rabbit to 14 (Zak has caught 14 so far 4 were by accident while just out walking), 2 have even been trained to work with hawks also and are doing brill!! all the owners keep me up to date and they couldn't be happier, and have even asked me when I'm breeding Chance again as they have friends wanting the same as thier's, BTW I'm not planning to breed from Chance again as I have all the dogs I want
  16. super duper Fezz!! I bet your over the moon with them! I'm so proud right now my lot are doing brill too, Inca and Taska are looking tip-top condition Fezz, a real credit to you! keep up the good work and don't forget the pictures too
  17. Luke that is very good of you to offer to give the money back and take back the pup, some breeders would just fob you off and deny that the pup was affected with this condition, but well done you!! if the testical doesn't drop then I would not breed from it in the future as it's a condition thats passed on down the line both in bitches and dogs, so mum and dad can both (or just one of them) carry this genetic faulty gene, and pass it on to thier pups. BTW they are stunning looking pups!! a real credit to you!
  18. My Keeta, litter sister to Stevo's Rocco
