so glad they are ok 5 hours drive home!! like the new name it's so quiet here now though, don't know what to do with myself lol, can't wait to see them when they are fully grown, keep me updated on thier progress, hope they do you proud!
yeah Fezz, wrong time of year with xmas and everything, and it's very quiet and quite strange in my house now, feed times are a lot easier though
I do miss them all, it feels like I have loads of time to myself and I just don't know what to do!
by the way how are your little angels doing? if they are anything like thier sister I feel sorry for you! she's a little cow-bag
only one boy pup left now, Stevo and his girlfriend have just been to pick up thier little girl and took a shine to Zuri too!
really nice to meet you both and baby too
so only Diesel left now
Fezz, I'll second that!! and I'm the breeder! :11:
Bunnyhawk, you should 'suprise' her, say 'look what I bought you, 2 cute little puppies',
then 9 months down the road when she's really attached, train them up to hunt
not that they will need much training, they were seconds away this morning from scalping the next doors cat god there fast for thier age!
and in the last week I've only had 2 pee accidents in the house YAY! fully house trained (nearly )
he does, and more!! :11: he's deffo gonna be one big, solid dog! my brother has his eye on him for 'bigger rabbits' but my mother won't have a dog in her house, she's a cat person
Lexi, Diesel and Zuri think they are terriers at the moment, they have just dug right under the fence to next doors garden Diesel did get stuck half way though :11: guess he thinks he's the same size as the other 2
tina i would but my mrs has just had a litter on the 1/12 /06 and shes like a pitbull with a bad attitude at the minute lol
if your mrs reads that you'll be in the dog house :11:
anyway, thought I'd put up a couple of pic's of the 2 dogs that are left,
Zuri (blue) and Diesel (blue/fawn)
and again play fighting
Good post tina,at the end of the day if the right dog is out there and ur a genuine enough dog man, then £500 is a high but fair price, you only get out what you put back in!!!
if there was a bloodline that i needed or wanted id pay the right price, the money is made back from one litter,if sold if given away to friends that line is yours more or less forever!!!
totally agree with you, if you wanted something that bad you'd pay, if Mike Brown said to me that his stud for 'Glen' was £500 I would have paid,
that's because the first time I set eyes on the dog his build, temperment
because I plan to show with the bitch pup I've kept, and every lurcher show I have been to over the last year a blue or black has won, (they have been shinning examples of the breed too though, great conformation!)
plus I have a big soft spot for them as Chance (the mum) was my first working dog and has been a dream to own and work, she's just to nervous to show,
I also love blacks too and blue parti-coloured, I was hoping for blue's and blacks in this litter, but I got all blue except for 2 blue/fawns, (blue/fawns show the dirt more though :11: )
I paid £250 for 'Glen' Strike while the irons hot, as a stud, and I have to say I got a cracking litter, 6 boys and 5 girls and mostly blue's which is what I was after,
also he complemented my bitch so perfectly, I was really happy with the mating, so money very well spent for the right dog I would pay £500 for a stud.
I think that's for Gnasher to find out for himself (and judge for himself), I don't want to be accused of swaying anyone from making up thier own minds, I'm sure he will find out soon enough by himself.
ok sorry Gnasher I took it the wrong way  :friends: and you'll get the bullshit lies and ego's in KC whippet people too, just be careful, and check!
racing whippets are about 19"-21", Laguna and Nimrodel are lines, and it's not a load of bollox that racing whippets have this condition, it's common place among them, and breeders of some racing whippets will breed thier bitches to dogs known to have this condition just because it's a champ!
go onto K9 community forums (it's a non-ped and ped whippet racing forum, and do a search on crypto, theres tons of it!) would you pay £350 or above for a dog with no balls????
do your research thoughly before you buy a racing whippet, there are some breeders who are very careful about this condi
