  1. it go's in further!! (joke) the term long-dog as i understand means sight-hound x sight-hound having nothing to do with length.
  2. yer you need to take it slowly with the training and don't get sucked into letting the dog train you!! collie cross is a good start dog easyish to train but still takes time.

  5. one of my old dogs grew back! had them done as a pup before i got her cost £ to sort out 12years ago
  6. Think am going to call the bullx the Marmite cross, and for me the only opinion that counts is from the guys who work this type of dog. but love them or hate them plenty are being bred and worked.

  13. Well from what i can see is the bull x seems the most popular cross, no a few lads with saluki's they never use the word obedient!! having said that all lurchers do well with the right training. The bull x looks the part big strong, are they better at lamping than day work??

Hi all I must have been out the loop for 8 or 9 years maybe longer! had my dog deerhound x (put to sleep last week) so never bothered keeping up with the latest lurcher x, looking for a new pup now and everywhere i look its a bull x, was just wondering what the bull x has to offer over other crosses??? have put a pic of my old girl on from here younger days RIP Lugsy

  18. Hi all, New to this site, am from yorkshire mad on lurchers! had to have my 13 and half year old deerhound x greyhound put to sleep last week so am a bit gutted had her from 9 weeks old. but dont think it will be long till i look for a new pup. and hoping i may find one from here. Cheers baz.
