    I used to feel like this but I have to admit I've been getting demoralised lately. Other people going on my land (someone's been shooting and someone else lamping since before the season started, so that what should have been untouched land was low on numbers and the remaining rabbits lamp shy) means it's been thin pickings since the start of the season. Apart from missing the feeling of success which both me and my dogs enjoy, I need food in the freezer - times are hard and the dogs usually make a good contribution to their food bill! I agree someone else on your on your land is not good

    It maybe just me lol, but i aint fussed if i come home empty handed dont get me wrong i like to get a few! but enjoy being out there.

    come on lads these things happen, as they say we live and learn. some of the replys are a bit over the top! just get the dog to the vets and make sure she is ok, its going to be an expensive mistake just hope you do the right thing. ATB

    for me it simple if am parting with my hard earnt cash for a pup, i would need to see sire working and evidence of the dam!! a pup out of none working stock (pet dogs) should be free to a good home! thats just my opinion, ex track dogs would ok for me if they proved it had raced and i would have to see the collie rounding sheep up before i parted with my £200/250!

    fairplay to you mate, hope anyone who takes one of his pups does the right thing and either takes some snap to keep his other dogs fed for a while or chips him a few quid to do the same. ATB Jambay
