    Whats wrong with having deerhound? I have 2 bitches the sire is greyhound x collie x deerhound and the dam a pure whippet cracking little dogs for what i want them for.

    I agree with this. Alternatively you wont go wrong with a first cross Collie greyhound (I do like some of the Hancock Border 1st x's) or even a Bedlington greyhound like my old girl. She was 24 tts, had a lovely temperament once she matured and was a very handy worker

    how many ferrets.would you plan on taken out witha box that size. on average the big reports say about 100 rabbits and this can be done with 4 good working ferrets . hour box ahould be a coffin for rabbits mate

    Got a call from the vet as my bitch due her booster but now i have her sister aswell the vet wants£42 for one dog but do you think i might get second dog cheaper. or can anybody put me on to anyone who can supply the jags wullie

    When my bitches come in season they both take turns in humping each other but seems to die down when not in season but stillhave the odd hump

    Good day had with a bag of 41 rabbits 7 of taken with the dogs bit poor start with one as she ran right along the first rabbit and didnt grab it then let the next 3 go but as soon as she seen her sister doing the job she switched on and wanted to chase every rabbit she seen but as for first time out with her on a proper days ferretinf i was pleased at how steady she was around the holes. If any one can tell me how to upload pics from phone i will put end of day pic up.or might have to wait till i get broadband on tues to put pics up. Wullie

    Well im of tomorro first outing this year with the ferrets and will have a terrier with me to knock rabbits out of cover but wondering if i should take one or both my girls with me. they are now 16mth old wullie

    My dogs get wrmed regular and she was treated just after getting her. but will try advice in feeding her meat going out with the ferrets this weekend and got a mincer ready for them and plenty freezer bags. will also try the butxhers for meat. wullie

    I took on my dogs litter sister and i feed them biscuit and a tin of pedigree with gravy twice a day but think i am going to have to change to chappie as this helps dry her up. she also seems fine when fed the cheaper supermarket make for a while then gets the runs after a while. not sure what she was fed on the first yr of her poor life but think it was just dry biscuit. any advice to put this too an end wullie
