  2. like i said 'same shit spouting' primate go away and play with yourself :wankerzo4: the guy asked advice on looking at the pictures i can only give advice on what i see and what if he has a 10" hole to his nest box you still going to claim it on entering the nest box, as i said i give advice and i know my advice is sound it might not always be 100% as im not a vet that is why i SAID it LOOKS like early signs of adrenal, never did i say it was .
  3. My old jill had adeanal and only kept some hair on her head in the end but she did start off like this, but when she died she had all her hair back adrenal dont mean they are always going to be bald, and never did i say it was definetley adenal that can only be done by taken blood samples but hair loss from the flank working upwards is a classic sign. or is it not.

  5. No not uncommon for this to happen it just means it a throw back and must have albino in its blood.
  6. looks very much like the early sign of adrenal disease, it sarts at the rear and spreads upwards might be lucky not to lead to much but then she might go totaly bald, you can get a hormone implant to help but if im right it only lasts between 3 and 6 mths.
  7. They look like normal ferrets? that is because you a right droid they are normal ferrets all my ferrets slim down and change in apperance at this time of year, but then again i must have a wide range of greyhound ferrets polecats, silvers, dew, and sandys. how lucky am i.
  8. Can you put a picture up and then it might give you some better answers, as could be anything here is just three 1, moulting 2, pulling out fur to line her nest 4, adrenal disease, hormone related, jill tends to lose from flank up her back and some will go completly bald
  9. Are they not on some Scottish island though, where there no wild polecats. [/quot found this Colonies of feral ferrets have established themselves in areas where there is no competition from similarly sized predators, such as in the Shetland Islands and in remote regions in New Zealand. Where ferrets coexist with polecats, hybridization is common. It has been claimed that New Zealand has the world's largest feral population of ferret-polecat hybrids.[16] In 1877, farmers in New Zealand demanded that ferrets be introduced into the country to control the rabbit population, which was
  10. My friend keeps hybrids and pure polecats and after some thought on it i decided to take a kit she was 75% pure, i took her from the age of 7 wks and handled her daily, found that i can pick her up but find if you scoop her up rather than hand down to pick up then there less chance of her turning on you, she is now almoast a yr old and never bitten me yet but hac come close a couple of times but only when i just pick her up rather than scoop her up, my other friend has bred his own line for the last god knows how many years but two years ago he introduce hybrid to his line and what i seen w

  14. if anybody challenged me with somthing decent to answer too then i would reply and if i have missed somthing then i am sorry. So you either, 1-missed my first post in this thread. 2-chose to ignore it. 3-don't know of any experiments that have been carried out. 4-the question wasn't decent enough for you to answer. Which one was it? Possibly number 2. Wrong again, if you read your post again yo will see that you didn't direct it at anyone let alone me so i have nothing to reply too.

  19. if memory serves me well im sure scothuter has a set up like this with the tubing coming from a hutch inside his shed. mayb he will put some pics up to let you see, been a couple of yrs since i seen it tho.
  20. When she is near the end of her term she should be sleeping a bit more than normal. if she is not and dont have them tonight then i would think it has been a phantom preg, has she been ill prior too breeding or during pregnacy? this seems to be a common thing the last 2 yrs but mayb it just nature way of cutting down the number of ferrets being born.
  21. if you putting it on him to take him a walk then i would say get some ferretone and put it on his belly and wwhile he is licking it you should be able to fit the harness, wouldn't use a harness when working the ferret.
  22. my scope was zeroed in when i got the gun but now find it i aim the cross hair about 2" below target it norm hits the spot so question is do i adjust scope up or down and by how many clicks do i need to turn it.
