  1. Go for a normal set Marshall tinyloc lakander and I'd buy from a main dealer rather than ebay
  2. Yes mate micro on a back pack. Flying to lure and fist mate kiting her for a week then hunt, hunt, hunt
  3. I make a lot of sacrifices in the summer that means I can hawk in the flying season the only times I don't get out with all the birds it's peeing down that's the same for everyone, if say I only have a couple of hours I just do fitness work ie kiting the falcons and just take the Harris hawks into the woods, it is over kill but one is my first Harris and she is 15 her first son who is 12 and a rescued female that is 6 that I don't think is safe to rehome.i know their are plenty that won't right on this thread as they don't fly all their birds everyday let alone monthly but I fly mine every min
  4. They are something will have her on the kite today
  5. I applied for 10 starlings 10 blackbirds as rehabbing this musket and 5 goldfinch these have just been put on the list.

  7. I own 9 birds I have a pair of peregrines that were flown hard for 4 seasons then I put them into a Hugh pen to breed from I do not fly these as it would be devastating to my project if something happened to either of them. This season I will be flying my AK up till November or when it gets real cold then she will be put away to moult so I can pick her up in April time.il also be flying a cast of 3 Harris hawks they will be hunting come 1st of October I'm also flying my gyr/peregrine and female imprint peregrine from the above I have a friend flying both me terciel's and my 2nd year apprentice
  8. Ok balls to this thread il start a new one!
  9. I have a pair of peregrines that breed every year and they are the only birds I don't not fly does that make me a peddler?
  10. What do you do with your hawk that people would criticise? Pedlars are here to stay untill some kind of legislation is put in place.
  11. I'm not saying anyone is wrong with buying in,I'm say people should no how too as it is apart of training a bird.falconry is not just about hunting with a bird surel.it's about the journey from beginning training a fresh hawk to your first kill and many more to come.
  12. Picked up Gracie about 2 weeks ago flying free on the lure very quick and clever! Chasing swallows and having a ball licence has come threw from natural England so will start hunting next week looking forward to this as never hunted one but on a trip to America they are all at it with AK's anyone available to post a pic if I email them it?
  13. No your post made you look a kno b not that you don't make equipment, chill out man you been drinking? What are you flying this season? We can agree to disagree! But I'm right!
  14. Being a bit pedantic there Leather work is part of leaning falconry nothing to do with other sports you just can't be bothered. It's a big deal to me because it's part of the sport! Your post makes you sound like a right k nob!
  15. Nothing wrong with my craftsmanship I think it's cheating when I was mentored I learnt leather work making anklets, bewits,Jessie's etc before I was aloud to touch a bird. Think it's a dieing thing now. All the people I have mentored have to learn leatherwork first. It's a shame really is!
  16. Noticing more and more people are buying ready made kit? Is the art of making your own kit dieing out?
  17. Yes mate this AK is a killing machine heart of a lion! Yes very different but this bird has been loaned to me for a season or two as the line is special. Have a imprint Merlin here two that I'm sure I can help but get out
  18. What am I flying well I'm flying a rehab spar and a American kes at starlings
