  1. Best game hawk I ever saw is a pere/saker, once you've done it with your birds and dogs and it all comes together I think you'll be hooked maybe you ought to come next year mate?
  2. Proberly is to much of a risk it's 7 years old that's good going If it were wild I think their are to many maybes to justify it but that's my opinion.

Year before last I took a young terceil and didn't catch anything bit inexperienced but when we were home and got him taking red legs took him up the August after and he took 6 in 8 days you are right it's all about the birds experience and the falconers and the dogs next week all my birds are experienced and should be some great flights.

  5. I understand what you are saying my birds learnt on partridge before grouse so they now the score plus it's a holiday with friends from all over England flying grouse and in good company nothing I like more.

  8. I use a plectrum but not a plastic one my are made of leather with a converted .22 shell and a zip tye for the bell
  9. Their are gunuine people out their. I don't agree with it my self with wild birds territory's etc and harsh winter etc it's not fair in my mind. Hope you find a good honest home for it.

  11. Yes very we'll and you need to no what you are doing you need to get a mentor go out for a season or 2 then fly 1 bird for a few seasons then see if you can manage 2

  13. Even Harris hawks are not easy to fly in a cast I fly 2 females together and a breeding pair dinamite on hare and pheasants great to watch with the dogs

  15. I new someone who flew a breeding pair together but I wouldn't recommend it. I've never done lamping I've only seen a hawk eagle on the lamp.
