  2. Hi Have a look at the local falconry/Hawking clubs then ask if you could meet up with some members in your area for guidance. They can give guidance and help you get set up and probably get you a bird in time from a good breeder and not just someone breeding for money. Well done for asking advice as too many are getting birds with out the correct training these days. ATB Lee

  9. Hi all please keep an eye out for a Harris hawk if you are out ferreting, flying this way! Details as below Lost Harris Hawk! Harris Hawk lost on the 4.12.13 in the Little OakleyArea. Due to strong winds the bird could have been blown to surrounding villages. The bird has a tail bell, transmitter and is wearing flying jesses. He is also ringed with a blue IBR ring. He will respond to a whistle and goes by the name of Ozzy. There is a £100 reward for his return or sighting that leads to his capture. Please could you contact Steve on TEL 07710578866 Regards Lee

  12. Sound great fun. Is it a particular breed, sub species or just a small Harris. Were they breed down for the small size?Mine was about flown at 1.4 when first flown but from a long line of large birds, he looks very big compared to some others I have seen and has bulked up quite a bit. I was looking to try him at about 1.6 , 1.6 1/2. ( rabbit, pheasy mugged pegion and mouse first flight free) But due to back op last week I am stuck in the house and frustrated as hell !!! The male I was due to have was being flown for me until the aviary was completed. He was flying at 1lb 10oz and looked it as

  14. Carolina reaper sounds Great I have grow all sorts for years and a few very hot scorpions. I have made a few bits and bobs in the past. Made a nice paste for toast. Cider vinegar dash, hand full of chillies, soya sauce fair bit, tomato thick paste shop brought. This forms the base sauce, cut chillies and mix all together hot pan until all infused. Make it thick and put in jar. Is great with cheese on toast and you can add what ingredients you want to it. Yum yum!!! ATB Lee

  23. Hi sound like your luck is in with the help offered. If you could find someone local with a falcon they fly all year round you may be able to gain some experiance in how to look after a bird, feeding, weights controll, cleaning, housing, manning, hooding, health etc. That way you can start learning the ins and outs sooner and will give you a good start and better understanding of what's what. You could also look up one of the clubs up there see if you can get a mentor or see if any pest controllers who have birds will let you have a days out with them. Good luck with it all and all the best.
