    We catch hare in 20/12 knitted single. Don't go for them often but no holes in the nets as yet..

    I'm so glad I never had to ferret anything like that.. I'd have left it alone

    My hand made nets were spliced and then I moved to spliced and stich ed with plastic thread Now it's just plastic thread.

    I go alone most the time.. I think I prefer it on my own but sometimes it's a nice change to have a chat. I find Biggest bags are on your own

    You can Knitt both salvage then add pins and running line.

    I would just use same twine again, I thread the length of my net on to a plumbing pipe so it hung and run the salvage along the bottom and passed running line through while I was at it. Spin it over and do it again .. Don't forget to put the first end pin on as you turn it over.. And Don't forget the pictures when it's done

    If I was doubling it would be 2 x 25yd nets to keep the nets more manageable. It will be getting heavy double knitted at 50 yds and then heavier again putting it away when it's wet.. What I would say is make sure you knitting what you want and don't make do as it's a long time knitting.

    When looking for a trade I would not use anything like that myself as i would be expecting all the good things said to be writen by friends of the tradesman.. But you could be the tradesman and have others you know give you 5 stars and a glowing reference lol.

    For most the time i thought My 100 was better than my rapid but I kept reaching past the 100 to take the rapid out and eventually sold the 100.

    I remember a blue barrel/bin used as one. There was a thread about it I think. I imagine it needed holes in the bottom to let the water out and also might catch the wind when you put it down after setting the nets But It did look good
