    spot on mate.11 mth old dog, first time, running loose with other dogs, imo, a no no, get them on the lead, find a kick up, on its own, with no older/dominant ones about.

    nice long slip lead and make sure dog can jump, so getting over fences is quick, with out havin to drop lamp.

    tell the truth, run her on pugged rabbits in daytime, prob 8 or 9, caght them easily, two long ears with my other pup, dobled up. been busy with my older ones, will not lamp her, she can wait till sept now. shes fast, tight bitch.

    your right, but took him lamping only once he caught 2 long ears and two rabbits, daytime hes too eager, diving in then losing grond, pulling back 2 em again, i think its his age being so mch sal in him, he needs to sluuw down and wait for his chance, he is cranky, eats rabbits while running, eats food so fast he hurts himself inside.but his runs are turn, turn, turn. rn him 4/5 runs on fen, he can defo stay. he also carries them back of he dont eat em.lol.hopefully in sept he,ll be more wiser on those fat quarry. , then get better. he started sept at 8mth old,(way too early really) and been p

    bob.accident prone. been run over twice whilst on course, cut on fences 3/4 times, had no time ot with him really, caught few, run three on one slip at crowland, caught last one, total running time 9 mins. at 10 mth.in nov.

    here are few pics of my pups, lady, the 10 mth saluki bitch, shake and bob fatherd by pure sal to saluki x, they are both 14 mths. got few more pups and few old dogs, but these are the ones i'm running in the stubble, cant wait red dog is 27 tts, black sal bitch is 25 tts, blue brindle dog is 25tts but very long. Red dog has been up fen already, runs well but strike needs improving only catches have been in dykes on fen.

BATTERIES NEVER GO FLAT OR DIM.I DRIVE AROND FIELDS, BUT ON TRACKS OR STUBBLE, COMMON SENSE MATE WERE IN 21ST CENTURY, WHY MARCH FIELDS?

Nobodys saying "go out and start breeding Borzoi x's this lads got one thats does it and hes thinking of breeding this ONE bitch,nothing wrong with breeding from tested dogs no matter whats in them imo.     they b fine.nights r not that cold to kill pups in stone shed, spring is here now, i had 6 litters in winter, not even heat lamp, thogh i now use one, for when i bring my dogs back and thyre wet, will make them stronger in long run, jmo. dont worry, r they workers or house pets?

    lovely bitch mate, nothong wrong with her size, put pure sal to her, any size, working one though, whippetx will make pups too small, unless yo want lampers, id give you 300 for pup, of crossed with sal. or if she free i put my old dog to her and buy all pups from you, hes a 3/4 sal dog with swoop lines, very good dog eveen p to last year hes 10 1/2 now, very good strike, but lacks initial speed, been looking for gryhond bitch bt yors is better, crossed him to pure whippet bitch, haad 4 good pups killing local 3/4s, took one bitch to fen and killed two bt lacked size/stride, she never rn same

    agreed, toby 'the hoover' was pure sal import x beddy greyhound.merlins sire.i believe, a freind saw him run cos the hoover was owned by fella nr me in sittingborne, kent, he says he coldnt catch a hare till he was 2 yr old, but look at the legacy he left. My old dog goes back to him throgh swoop lines, hes ten now.He's best dog i owned. v good stike.

    i used to do same mate, but last thing means they lay till morning grubbed up, not good for digestion, mscle bilding etc. jst abot 6 oclock followed by short walk, be fine to run next morning, if you do go lamping feed them when you get back, then ots only ine night they lay.

    same as mate, its fate i think. got a pup few months back, done nothin with it in winter cos too yong, slippd on first long ear last week, unbelievable, run it into ground. turrned down good money for 8 mth old pup, escaped from kennel next day, got ruunover and smashed leg, foind hr still hobbling abot on my land.gutted. had h put down cps vet sked me 3 grand with no definates. 5th dog lost under 1 yr old, to same road. so i know how yo feel.its worse thogh when dog gets nicked, had that too, you alwsys wondr. but at least you know where hes at. sorry bot user name.new here.

    hares are up and abot at night, would like to see this springer, i had g/sheperd and springer both get hares daytime(out the seat.lol).my view is if you got lamping dog run the hares, but not in the coursing fen/marsh land. stick to the fields, and away from where i live lol. it makes sense if yor dog kills 2,3 regulaar on lamp,try promoting it to day, stop the slaying, but its good to see on the lamp, i love it too, but thres too many people who think they got match dog for getting three on the lamp, my personal turning point was when we had 16 with 3 dogs and (9 rabbits) it made me realise t
