I had a dog that did that, personally I found it a fault as it quarry nearly always dug itself in or bolted before the dog got to it, not saying the dog didn't do its job when it found, but never felt confident in the dog hearing it barking while traveling through the place, only to come back out when its saying nothing home. so why the fck was it barking, strange and a bit embarrassing when out with folk, but that's opinion.

he was bought from a unknown traveler, fact, regardles who got there hands on it. breeding not known. thats from the sourse himsef.

to be honest it looks underfed and in poor condition. get some snap into it, a pup of that age should be fat little fcker and full of sparkle. once you sort it out. nice pup good look

after the first 2 pheasant drives in the morning. ile be on the land following after the beaters checking the earths. thay drop stright to ground when the shooting starts. seems to get us a result.

parkin breeds at least 10 times a year. and must have easly 20 terriers if not more. a well known breader of russells from selby area. show not so much the worker.

greg is a good friend of mine, and no he has not passed away, i was talking with him today. i hunt regular with the man the last time was xmas. yes the terriers are russells. mainly roughs with one or two smooths. before anyone jumps on the wagon yes he likes the shows but i can assure you he likes to his terriers to work. and yes he was hunts man for the dove valley. a very helpfull guy and always willing to give the right acvice to anyone. he has worked within the jrtcgb and still does to this day along with the clubs in europe.

how many times do we hear, the dogs walked. and still only young. more terriers ruined through putting to much in front of them. and not 2 year old yet. says it all realy. i had a bitch, park bred, she walked at 4 year old. start to a season, no intrest in her at all. 6 or so month down the line, took her out last chance realy. peged her out .entered another young inexperienced dog couldent find its quarry, so let the older bitch of the couple. bang. a result. the bitch was killed doing her job 5 years later. its not always the dogs to blame,
