  1. Feeling guilty now.dont bother mine near as much as I should, saying that though I can handle them in any situation, digs etc without a problem, have had the same stuff for a LONG time now. Good temperament bred in maybe?
  2. Supervised exposure with a distraction, eg milk? If pups ok keep an eye on the ferrets, remember the primary senses of both animals are not the same as ours, a good sniffin is required on both parts, hopefully within a week or two they be palled up.
  3. what do you think is the more intelligent the collie or the saluki?don't think one is more intelligent than the other, more about tractability than intelligence imo.

  5. Blades and bows, cracking choice, cracking prices, cracking service.
  6. Adam mate there's always a reason, just that sometimes it can take a bit of fathoming, cant see the wood for the trees so to speak.Your own frustration and anxieties over the issues however well you may feel you're covering them up, the bitch will be picking up on them thus compounding the matter.Giros advice is sound, speak to a professional, their objectivity gives a different view of things.Hats off to you for not giving up on her.
  7. ive wondered that also , used that type and it wouldnt be my 1st choice, yet they seem very popular and often marketed specifically as "rabbiting knives".
  8. I wonder how it would work the other way around i.e if the dogs got to decide if the owners "made the grade", im sure one of mine would have me in the yellow paper next week! Lol
  9. Raced and worked my BWRA stuff and to say too fast? I took mine out from being babes and they sharp learned how to use their pace and avoid obstacles etcThey werent brilliant but they couldn't have been too bad either as some twat swiped them ! I think getting them out and about allsorts of terrain from a young age is key, that knowledge protects them more than genetic proclivities for minutely thinner skin etc.
  10. you should make a video so people can see what you mean
  11. Best off leaving it out in the sun to warm up just below curdle heat ........ sometimes as a special treat from the usual bread and curdled milk I give em a Teacake instead..they love them currants... they mix in well with the flies,They can tell the difference. WELL!I am not happy at all, I gladly welcome this advice from the experts only to discover that its no good! Gentlemen im not stupid its December, it could take days to curdle in these temperatures or may even freeze, then my little husband and wife team could be quite hungry.Thank goodness the lovely people at Furry Friends Fo
  12. How long do you cook it for? Itchy and Scratchy are pretty fussy.
  13. You need to man up and get a grip ... They are only smelly weasels that happen to scare a few rabbits out of holes ... Chuck them in a hutch feed them the best milk and bread and get shot in the summer so you can save a few pound ... Come autumn they will be two a penny .. Use them for the winter and get rid ........ Alright there, wonder if you could give me some advice about the bread an milk? Does it matter which type/colour bread to use an is skimmed milk better than UHT?
  14. Cheers for that bud, what type of material is it made of, is it like a softshell type or nylon?
  15. NS is out of terriers now.I know nothing of terriers, nothing, I know little of shows . I do know a little about stockmanship, IC has it, I've never seen him turn a dog out in less than 100% in all aspects, for me this sets his stock apart in the ring against dogs of similar conformational soundness that have had less attention lavished on them.that and as has been said some judges lack strength of conviction.or I might just be talkin sh*te.
  16. Got to agree, empathy and respect, exactly.
  17. Threw the bike in the scrap, downright traumatic trying to ride one of those on the roads in this day and age! Need nerves of steel.
