  3. cant go wrong with a silverline, i got mine and took the wood handle out and welded up a bit of pipe section into it and then i welded a bit of plate on fro some kick plates so you dont f**k your boots real strong nt that heavy but last well

  12. thanks guys this advice is really helpful, in my current situation im nt able to get a dog just yet and i dont beleive in just getting one for the sake of it, as i wont do it justice and give it the works it needs and wants but i wanted to look bit more before getting one. atb lurcher lamper
  13. how young cause i thot entering em too young will f**k a dog like and dont rush em just start em 14/15 month if there ready, but there aint no fast rule of thumb and definite age cause it varies from dog/bitch and breeds and the dogs personality etc.
  14. anyone got any ideas about which dogs are best for all round work. not serious earth dog but a bit of earth work bit of ratting etc. not looking to buy just yet, but just trying to know more bout it before i get one. i heard fair bit bout pattserdales that you can only dig em once every 2 weeks (headbangers) but also heard there are some which are a bit calmer and settled borders seem to be quite steady but are quite costy for a first dog and 400/500 a lot to spend if it takes a bit of a hiding like. mixed views on russells, too many are kept as pets but i have seen them work w

  16. my jill did exactly this when i entered her, but i just kept at it and had a mk3 excelent piece of kit. just keep taking her out even if blank buries get her used to it and handle her loads its the best way

  19. thanks guys real good help last night he had a real good course. getting better at looking down the beam and coursed one brilllianltly for good 2 minutes. wore the dog out lol but was a proud owner
