  1. Two summers ago took 16 Squiggas in one small covert in a week using one body grip trap placed sensibally in a hole in the tree on the ground, Pre baited the hole where as my trap would be placed beforehand and as the trap was close to my house i would check it several times a day, Certanly stopped them knawing away at the bottom of spiral feeders and nicking food meant for game, Plus probbaly prevented alot of egg theifing aswell.
  2. I dont hate them neither do i wish them gone from the countryside,As much as i enjoy hunting and digging them i would rather see them about for years and years.

  11. Was walking the dogs earlier in my valley, Plenty of Roe and Muntjac in this valley, One of my Lurchers was in cover and came back munching on a muntjacs leg, By the size im judging it was a young munty, So my question is what predatates on young muntjac? We have sett loads of Black and whites around and one or two foxes , But not to many foxes as they are regually shot.
  12. I live in Bristol and i know alot of dog men and travvellers in the area, Ill keep an eye out for these dogs. There is a traveller site that is renouned for stealing dogs close by and holding them at ransom, There not all bad but this one site is renonded for it.
  13. My wheaton x dog has never cocked its leg and hes four years old. I think its due to my other dog being a bitch and watching and learning from her as a pup.

Still looks like five more years of labour anyway. Not Good.
  15. Tunnel traps placed sensibally along any hedges, fences, walls or on each side of a gateway will pick them up along with other vermin thats not wanted.
  16. Ive shot hundreds of squirrels both with airguns and shotguns, Mostly using my old bsa lightning, I found this to be an exellent squizzer gun, Sat outside drays and other hidey holes, Also to my advantage was to sit close to the game feeders beacuse they would regulally come to feed on the spilled grain. Alough dont get time for shooting at leisure anymore so prefer to trap them using tunnel traps and cage traps,Have snare one or two aswell.
  17. Ive snared foxed, on well used runs through cover crops, runs in the hedges and around my realease pens, But make sure it it foxes using the runs before you snare them, Other animals such as Badgers,Cats,Deer and even dogs will use the runs. Also best to use snares well away from any public footpaths and such.
  18. Bigstu, Thats a lovley looking dog, how tall is she/he?
  19. Agreed, The BNP are a joke which shows how crap this country has become. Theres only one way to vote and it was made clear in this election, Conservative. Everyone who voted liberal and other partys with no chance, such as the BNP has wasted votes in my opinion.
  20. Seems strange when a lake is frosted over when trees is summer leaf?
  21. I think its clear alot of anti hunting Mps have been hounded out of parliment. However there is still a few left. This is infomation i have taken from the lacs website which shows there are still alot of anti hunting mps left. - 251 MPs support repeal of the Hunting Act - 254 MPs do not support repeal of the Hunting Act - 6 MPs would abstain on a free vote - 35 MPs have unknown positions on repeal of the Hunting Act
