Does anybody still realse white pheasants and black pheasants on there shoots? I have a white bird wondering round my patch and has never seen it before and i seem to notice it from miles away, When i used tp put any other birds down they where guinea fowl? Never noticed many white pheasants before tho.

Its always hard to answer as different people have different preferances. Personly i think a good collie x

Yes correct. It is a fantastic forum! Sadly it has a reputation for housing alot of numpties of the hunting comunity as well as some of the most knowledgeable and experienced members of the hunting community. Ive heard lots of people in the past talk about this site being full of messers and tash, But if you forgett about the messers its a brilliant site

The land i have is a narrow stream, few deep spots that widens up and has plenty of lakes nere by and some have been dug into the stream, I have seen prints and scat regually along different parts of this stream but never caught a mink in a trap, and i run sometimes three of four along it for 1 week periods as im rather busy with worth atm, Could there be a mink spending shorter time at a different stretch of stream before moving up stream agian beacuse the stream is so small?

Ian, Tell me some more if you would? Im quite into mink trapping and keen to know what sort of water system you caught this on? Was it a large river, brook small stream or a petty ditch with nothing more than glorified rain water? Reason im asking is ive been getting some padding on a small stream, very small stream which i wouldnt of thought mink would wander.
