hi sussex the fallow havent started yet normaly around middle of october, i saw a buck a couple of days ago following a doe that was grasing on the edge of some cover and every time she moved he would follow her. i was only catching glimses of him cos he never broke cover, smart animal but shouldnt be far away. been very mild over here this year the reds are roaring in some areas and not in others. i have sika 5 mins away from me and there normally the last to start but there whistling now so very strange rut this year,

im in balla co mayo fatman plenty of deer not far from me, plenty of shooters to so bucks like that dont come often, saw another 1 like him yesterday evening but he was on a island so hes still there. where r u.

firstly hi to all the fellow deer stalkers on here, im reading ur posts for a good while so thought i better start putting a few up myself. went to some of my permission a couple of evenings ago and farmer told me he saw 4 bucks and 2 prickets all together 2 hours before i got there so i headed off hoping to catch up with them somewhere, by dark all i had seen was a doe and her calf which are out of season till nov 1 here in ireland so decided to come back at first light.following morning i was leaving van when it was light enough to see deer, i stalked along the edge of 1 feild and as i got t

i saw a mate inject a german pointer he bought last winter that was in pup, must of been 6 weeks gone and it worked. bitch ate what she passed and was back hunting within the week. does the job grand digger ide be heading to the vet tomorrow and she will be huntable in no time.

same thing happened to me a while back digger, you can get a injection off the vet that makes them abort think its 12ml twice, cost me 25 euro and job done no effect on dog same as giving them penicillian cant remember the name just ask the vet mate.

had a 3.4 last december took 2 of us over 6 hours. had another 2 in the same day and place a few weeks after that, 1st dog entered at 1.30 in afternoon, took him a hour to back them up, got a mark at 2.7 on my own aswell, digging partner arrived at 6.30 and broke through to dog at 7.30 pulled dog out and let a we dog i got off ryan161 in to see if any more in pocket, bad move dog pushed about 8 foot up into another pocket. couple of barks then nothing only very small movement on box and 2.3 deep broke through to dog at 11.00pm locked solid for 3 hours. the ground was like concrete, been back

well done stop end, good we read, had 4 myself in last few weeks to 2 young dogs in there first season and would love to share the experence on here but it always a slagging match so dont bother. good job mate keep at them.

ur right ther is loads of tossers and pleabs on this site and the biggest ones are people LIKE YOU that read posts and slate them off. how the feck do you no how many people on here arent digging week in week out, ive had loads of digs this winter and only posted 3 topics cos i cant be arsed with people like you and looking back at my last post i may have worded it a bit wrong but at least i took the time to write one as the other lads do. one thing you can be sure of i wont be again. go back to ur armchair and telly and dont read the forom if ur gona rant like that.

was out yesterday checking earths,the first 4 had nothing home so i headed to a massive 1 i havent been to in ages,must be 20 holes or more. when i was getting close the dogs were pulling my arm off to get there so new something was about. the first holes i got to were ran with prints so in with the borderx lakie. after around 5 mins he found his quarry at 1.2 left him a while longer and no movement so started digging. just as i broke through all went quiet. spent the next 2 hours following the dog around the earth, he just couldnt hold them in 1 place for long and hes a strong dog that never

hi lads back out again this morn in freezing conditions, headed to a big patch of scrub not far from me with 5 earths in it, 2 of them big ones and hard to get in to. walked to the far end of it with prints in the snow everywhere, i collered up my lakiexborder and let him of to run the cover and check earths as its so thick. after about 5 mins no sign of him so on with locater and found him to ground about 200 yards back where we had walked in at 0.9. started digging with some thumping going on below, got down about 0.7 next thing all quiet he moved about 20 foot and started again, 3 or 4 min

hi to you all, ive been a member of this site since feb and posted 1 topic and had a good few digs latley so thought its about time i put up a post. woke this morn to 2 inches of snow on ground and was itching to get out as ive been stuck in all week. headed of to a couple of earths where farmer has been having chickens taken latley, the was scent and prints everywhere but nothing home where we checked. so of up the road about a mile to a handy 3 holer, there was prints leading into 1 hole so in with my lakiexborder. within 45 seconds he was baying away steady as at 0.8, gave him a few more mi
