Come on lads, help a newbie out!

Hi lads, Bit of a long shot I know, but if you don't ask you don't get I suppose. Are there any lads out there in the Stoke on Trent or Staffordshire area that do any rough shooting / ferreting etc using shotguns that wants be kind enough take me along? What other methods have you lads used for bolting rats? Have used smokers and one lad has suggested using peterol - any others? Thanks in advance...

You have to mix oil with the peterol yeh? Sorry for the simple questions, this is all new to me and just want to make sure i do this right. I obviously have to remove the strimmer arm?? Any advice would be great. Thanks. Chris.

Exactly, hence the reason someone mentioning a locator confused me as i've never heard of locator's used for ratting...

Ive seen the bellman and flint with the barryvox reciever used in foxing but not in ratting?

Hi all, Other than land where you have permission to hunt where could I find rat / mink sets - for eg typical area's? Want to get out with my terrier in the morning to try and find something... Cheers.
