not my dogs first season but its her first on teeth. start of season she was not looking good at all she was just chasing them out of the field just was not intrested in taking them i had given her chance after chance and in the end put her up for sale as a rabbiting dog but to be honest all i had was clowns ringing me so i never got round to selling her. took her out a few days later because my other dog was lame and she nailed her first in fine style then an other on the same night sinse then she has had over 20 and doing very well so im looking forward to the rest of the season.
so the farmer thinks a stray dog is running round on his land and he just walks off? He'd just shoot the f'cker!
I've read that before aswell, sounds like a bit of an urban myth to be honest.
may well be a total crock of shit mate ive never seen it or met the mad it was just a story that an old mate told me. the kid was from round sheffiled
not this but a kid who i know told me about a coursing dog that would run away when the bloke who owned it would shout "come here boy" so when they were court coursing and the farmer would say ive seen you coursing he would say with witch dog im just out walking so the farmer would say that dog shout of it so he would shout "come here boy " the dog would run off then he tells farmer told you it was not my dog. when the farmer fecked of he shouted it by its name and it came running back. lol
shame mate its allways crap to lose a dog at any age just be fortunate she lived a full life and you had the pleasure of owning such a dog and you got some good pups of her. R.I.P
