  1. considering breeding my cracking red lakie to super whippet bitch this year, any more pics really interested in seeing this cross. Also love to know peoples thoughts on them that have had them previously.....
  2. i'm new to the terrier game & this website, see alot of this breeding questions being discussed. as a breeder and trainer of working collies wouldn't even discuss this for a collie its working strain or nothing wouldn't even think of breeding or working a show border collie. why all these discussions around terriers? is it because mainly a pass time??
  3. super looking dogs I'm looking for a terrier myself and a red lakeland for sale in my area, after seeing these pics think I'll call about it tomorrow. anything to look out for in 14 month old lakeland?
  4. Put the boys away yesterday and said thats it for another season, saw young ones yesterday. This is my 3rd year and love it, my question is what does everyone do for the rest of the year? do you work the ferrets on different game or do some other type of hunting?? I'm considering getting into terriering, as lad works for me does it and also have a fox problem. is it a large jump from ferrets to terriers?
  5. looking at a parson terrier and have been told both parents work and are working strain. before i get all the responses i know they are also show dogs and have been told this, plus i breed & train working collies so know looks shouldn't matter etc so.... the parents are Windynook and Glenholm breeding was wondering if anyone has worked these strains or come accross them before?
  6. have one hob that never put a collar on always comes up, other 2 always put the collar on as learnt the hard way. personally would use a collar until I got to know the ferret, does reduce your patience though:)
  7. hi all sorry should have put this up last night. Hunting many years mainly shooting and with the ferrets, currently looking for a terrier in the south east of Ireland
