Any type of work , they are bred workers if they are "too big" to enter underground you use them for pigs or any above ground work..... even though I have not yet come across one that doesnt enter fox den . People that own them and breed them are usually hunters and they are almost always bred best worker to worker , by saying that I dont EVER say that other breeds of terriers are not capable of doing what they were made for but with Jagd's alot of BS of show breeding is cut out. Predominantley they are working breed and hopefully will never be a show dog. My dogs are not bigger then 37 c

Mate of mine imports them , costing him a fortune , I cant afford that yet hehe ... as far as the lines go , they come from top lines in Serbia . And yes my friend they do quiet enjoy the pigs here . I had these little dogs since I was a small kid , when we moved to Oz I thought I would find plenty here but it took some time for the first ones to arive ... imported by a guy who is from my parts of the ol' country and loved them just the same. I would put some action shots up for you guys but ,I dont know how the moderators would react and it might be the best not to do it, I dont know

Well the roughhaired one is 11 months hes been on few pigs with other dogs and few rabbits . He is starting to learn and is a very promising dog. The smoothhared he is 6.5-7 months now and has been on pigs as well , with other dogs ... hes nose is superb , will be a machine of a dog ...still young to push too much , so at the moment , smaller pigs , bunnies , anything to keep him entertained ... he also loves to dig . As far as using them to go to ground I personally hope that they get "too big" for that due to number of reasons but I'm not that lucky

What a lot of crap, I have jagdterriers for me they have awesome noses , they are black but I am 5 million percent sure that has nothing to do with they scenting abilities. It is very shallow to asume colour has any impact at all . Every dog has a potential especially terriers whatever colour they are. I can't even believe that this is being a theme and that I am even writting a comment on it , oh well what do you know

I own two males and they were brought up fine. They live with each other , same cage , share they food and there is no problem. I had them for a good part of my life then moved to Oz and recently got these two , one is 11 months now and the other is 6.5 months . I might add the best lines u will find are in Serbia, germany chec republic so good luck searching for them. I have used jacks , patts, and borders as well ..... Nothing compares to a Jagd. As for they size I have not yet had a problem with the ones I owned to go to ground. Oh yeah u lot might find it interesting but my two boys get
