    Yet you keep saying whippets can't catch hares, and I've only owned one dog, briefly, in 1976, that I've any experiencence of!! Faaack off, Gooey, you plum!! And, just to be clear, Gooey, I've owned running dogs, quite a few actually, for longer than you've been alive, and caught plenty of hares with them, and no saluki blood in them, whatsoever.

    I notice no likes from Gooey!! Oh Gooey, there really have been dogs without saluki in em that could and did catch hares!! Some of em even owned by ME, believe it or not, which will absolutely crease you!! Mind, I have to say, I never gave the hare 100 yards law before slipping my whippets on em.

    I remember you posting some of your posts about you as a youngster, Mack. My years as a youngster were VERY similar. But it was my mother that was the worst out of my parents.

    Sort of agree with you there. All my young lurchers, very rarely ran rabbits as youngsters. Just weren't enough around. And that was 40 years ago.
