    Same here, Francie. My youngest is 4 1/2, he be 5 in march. Seeing your kids faces and happiness when they get up this morning, is better than any present. Enjoy your Christmas.

    Well, the way I see/understand it, 5 minutes of continuous flat out running WILL demand more stamina than a lamp dog that's running 20-30 seconds at a time, and having several rests between runs. Not including any of my dogs in this, as I never owned any runners that could last anywhere near 5 minutes of continuous flat out running, nowhere near it.

    I don't have to try, Gooey. I've owned a few dogs that were good hare catchers/killers. I just don't see the point in fooling myself that they were coursing dogs. Anyway, Gooey, where are these 500 yard slips you keep promising us? 8, 9 or 10-15 yards isn't what you told us you'd be sharing on here.

    @mC HULL And, young feller me lad, you and the likes of you and your sort, have NOT been coursing hares. Coursing hares is a contest between two sighthounds to find out which hound is better, NOT one sighthound run at a hare just to see if it can catch/kill the hare. I know you know this, so why do you and your ilk call it hare 'coursing' when it's obviously NOT hare 'coursing?'

    Or wee willy wonka can't read a tape for toffee, which I've suspected for a looong time, on these threads, as in, 200 yards means less than 200 feet etc etc. I'm a fully trained and qualified wood machinist, and you wouldn't believe the amount of trainees that I told my bosses to f**k off, because they really couldn't read what we would see as the most basic measurements on a tape, absolutely f***ing useless!!

    @mC HULL Come on, Gooey, now, I've never been a hare courser, or claimed to be one, but those two clips you put up earlier, none of them are more than 8 or 9 yard slips. Now, you filmed them, so put the actual distances up, at the point of slipping, which you've recently repeatedly said you'd do.
