  1. Not yanking ya chain, but how do you work that out? Surely, in a multiple birth scenario, eggs pups, kittens, whatever, you'll get hit and miss in all of them? Like I said, I don't know the intricacies of breeding, sex chromosomes etc etc.
  2. That looks refreshingly tasty, G.
  3. I like birds, finches etc etc, but I haven't got the interest that would enable me to breed different colour variations etc, bangers.
  4. Comedy gold doesn't even come close to that particular set of posts. Definitely still the funniest things I've ever read on this site. And yes, he certainly knew his native finch genetics, breeding etc 100%.
  5. Yeah, like I said in an earlier post, I misread it.
  6. Yep, I read it too quickly and mentally assumed three quarter whippet.
  7. 3/4 bred being too small and slow? Not too sure about that. But, I agree, a pure whippet would 'probably' be a better choice, depending on the land etc.
  8. No, but I can juggle three milk bottles at the same time.
  9. Someone send him a thousand bonsai trees!! f****r's uptight as f**k, constantly!! lol
  10. All this sort of talk reminds me of when I was in school, and I took 'rural science' as a subject, not 'gardening'. Mr Hickman was our teacher, drummed into us the importance of a good, friable loam, especially for beets and tubers!!
  11. So, lies nevertheless? I'm guessing here, Gooey, as your reply above isn't exactly clear. lol
  12. So I could breed a useful line of dogs without the lies, 'Street accidents' and made up pedigrees etc etc. If I had the time.
  13. I think I'd rather take on a pure than a coursing bred.
  14. Read the top post, Gooey. Even some collie in there.
  15. I love it when the truth comes out about a lot of the famous coursing dogs have plenty of whippet in their bloodlines. Several people on here, no need to mention names, will be practically apoplectic! Lol
  16. You don't need to tell me, mate!! lol
  17. Charts is far too erudite to fall for your ruse, Gooey. lol
  18. Pretty popular mix in years gone by. Seen a few good ones many years ago. Haven't seen any of that type for a couple of decades, though. Shame really. Good luck with your search.
  19. Hasn't he just bred one of his greyhound bitches? Can't remember the the thread now. I do remember he's got two greyhound bitches, and he's just bred one.
  20. You going for the same type, or just a first cross pointer/grey mate?
  21. As the old saying goes, one man's meat is another man's poison. Personal preferences are great.
