Before I got with the mrs and 'retrained' her, her idea of cheese on toast was this; put a slice of bread in the oven and grill one side, take it out, turn it over, then grate cheese onto the uncooked side, then put it back in the oven under the grill to melt the cheese!!

Where's all the money that we pay to the water authorities going, doesn't seem like much is being spent on flood defense etc? Several families and quite a few businesses have been ruined, the last few years, along certain stretches of my local river in south wales, River Taff.

It's not that I don't appreciate her trying to help, and to be honest, I'm quite fond of the little nerk, but my god, sometimes she's enough to make half of the gibberish Gooey writes on here make sense!!

Well, that didn't last long!! . Put up a new wall clock and new wall mirror in the living room, with the 'help' of my Mrs. I won't go in to too much detail, but kin el, throw me about!! Just ordered some cans of Badger Tangled foot, to ease my tension!! Lol Anyone else 'lucky' enough to have their mrs 'help them out' with a couple of small DIY projects?

I thought similar about the lagotto romagnolo and bedlingtons, re history of people travelling etc, both breeds having a great nose, similar coats, good in water etc. Bearing in mind, like most breeds, they would've a looked a little different to what they are now, but probably not too different?

Well, the mrs went to bed at 9.25 pm. So, I've been listening to a lot of my favourite music. A LOT of reggae, some medieval music, and now a few cranberries tracks. I am a happy person.

Most of the history I've researched myself, does actually suggest terrier and gundog blood, as much, if not more, than collie/sheepdog blood. Who really knows, and does it really matter, as a lot of the lurchers I knew, worked, saw as a youngster, no-one 'really' knew how they were bred!! But many of them were cracking workers, regardless.
