Do you like liver, mate? One of my favourite meals is liver, onions, mushrooms and MASHED POTATO in onion gravy. I also sometimes add peas, sliced bell pepper, red, green and yellow, and some chillies. Beautiful.

Got to be honest, Arry, even though I don't suffer with any type of 'ism' the thought of mashed potato with a fried/poached egg almost repulses me!! Have had fried/poached egg with fried mash/bubble and squeak or whatever, but plain mash and fried/poached egg, NO!!

Not a particularly uncommon cross in south wales at the time. Early eighties my mate bought a pup out of a pure doberman bitch, guard dog to an allotment, to a whippet cross deer/grey, also kept at same allotment. Bitch he picked was OK for a few lamped rabbits, if they weren't close to any cover/hedges. He then bred her to a collie/grey cross sal/grey, and kept a dog and a bitch pup out of that litter. Both were fairly useful alrounders, to be honest.

I've never owned a brindle lurcher that was shite, and apart from a couple, all my lurchers have been brindle, a couple being extremely good. Had a blue/fawn lurcher bitch that was pretty shite, she was my first lurcher, so that was probably down to me though. Had a blue/fawn and a blue/fawn brindle, a black and two brindle kc reg whippets that were shit hot, sorry, one of the brindles was a pure whippet but not registered. And apart from the blue/fawn lurcher bitch, ALL my dogs caught hares, some obviously more than others. And now Gooey's gonna chime

Well, not cooking, but snacking. Just had a pork pie, a scotch egg, a 2 ounce piece of extra mature cheddar, and a packet of walkers ready salted crisps. I don't think 'chuckles' would approve, ........ but I'm f***ing happy!!
