    Only asking, as I owned a big fawn 28 1/2" greyhound bitch in 1991, that my ex Mrs accidentally let out, and despite me looking for her, had no luck in getting her back. For a few days I was half expecting a couple of the local farmers to ring me, telling me she'd killed some of their sheep, but no, nothing.

    Yep, I've had a couple of lurchers with deerhound in, still having that ear carriage until over a year old. I think other large breeds, and slower physically maturing types would be pretty much the same. I had a staff the same, 20 years ago, didn't lose his last upper right molar until he was just over 13 months old.

    Cave lions, which were in britain until about 13000 years ago, were also much bigger than modern lions. Lol recently been going through some of the dinosaurs, extinct animals etc that used to be around, with my youngest lad, charts, and thought I'd read that about the fallow, so just checked lol

    Or make it worse, as a lot of older lurchers, especially some males, can be a tad too aggressive/full on with a pup as soon as they start running about. Not saying this WILL happen, but it CAN.

    Hypothetically, it depends on how 'inconvenienced' you were, and the severity/seriousness of the inconvenience. If, as some people were affected, you couldn't get to hospital etc for a serious medical condition for one of your kids, wife etc, I think you'd be rather more inclined to give the deluded c**ts more than a clip around the ear.
